NU2U Thrift Shop — Local services in Evanston

NU2U is the place to go in Evanston, WY, for clean, gently used items at reasonable prices. They have just about anything you're looking for, including items you might not expect to find at a thrift store, such as wedding dresses, kayaks, original art work, contemporary and vintage furniture, etc. The owner, Susan, also makes her own jewelry which she sells there.

Their new space on Harrison Ave. is clean and well-organized. When we were there yesterday to buy an office chair and dresser, a friendly young man helped us load them into our vehicle. The only reason I don't give NU2U 5 stars at the present time is their limited business hours. They're only open from 11-5 Tuesday-Friday, 10-4 on Saturday. I know a lot of people wished they were open earlier or stayed open later, but if NU2U is like other local businesses, they're making it work with a limited staff. Very bad customer service. Asked politely if they had an item was told if you don't see it in here then we must not have it. Then as we were leaving seen a little toy up front asked if that was for sale and was abruptly told no unless you want to pay $100 so I can Buy 2 on Amazon. Was just asking a simple question and was treated like dirt. Will not take my stuff there anymore will take down to park city. And will not support...
