Caffeinated Cowboy Coffee and Soda — Restaurant in Evanston

I’ve been a regular since they opened- the baristas know my order and how I like it. However, multiple times I’ve been served a coffee by two specific barista’s that has no ice, and is completely watered down. Other times they pour me cold brew coffee instead of making me the espresso that I paid for. Another barista repeatedly charges me for a macchiato Every time I ask her for an Americano even though I repeat it multiple times to her so she understands. I’ve asked the barista to remake my coffee, and there is one particular who gives an attitude every single time. I never knew that when someone else messes up making a drink the customer should feel bad for asking for it to be fixed and should swallow their six dollars down, waste of money and take it anyways. This last time she refused to remake my coffee, threw cream in the old cup when I asked her to make it again and handed it back to me and accused me of targeting staff. I told her I wanted my money back if she wasn’t going to fix the drink and she argued with me and slammed the window shut in my face. If I’m paying six dollars for a coffee I expect to get what I ordered. For being a long time customer who has really loved a lot of the baristas here and recommends the shop to everyone then to be treated so poorly is a really poor image on the shop. If you’re going to be a barista, you need to know the difference in ratios with water versus ice. Hot and cold, macchiato and americano and basic customer curtesy, The sign specifically says if it is not made right, then they will make it again. I’ve kept my mouth shut for a long time because when the drink is made right I love it, but Im done. I’ve never had such a horrible experience being treated so badly over something so small in my life. I’ve lost so much money in this place hoping they’d get it right and it’s just getting worse the longer...

This is not a negative review nor a positive. I gave it 3 stars based on the barista that we had. I understand that people have bad days. When we pulled up I could already tell she was not happy. She got my order wrong and also my wife's order wrong. We payed like 20 bucks for 2 32oz drinks. Wasn't the best coffee and my wife added some protein shake to hers for more flavor. I truly felt bad for her and even gave her an extra tip. I just smiled at her and told her to have a great day when leaving to which no response back. I was just passing through and craving coffee. Oh well. I personally will not stop there on my way back. Hope other people have better...

The drinks are delicious but I had an issue with the buy ten get one free card. I filled mine out completely and the person working took my card showing the ten purchased drinks. She told me to go back at my next visit and ask for another card and get my free drink. I just went back and asked for another (blank) card and my free drink and the little lady working tried to give me a card with one stamp and asked me to pay.. lol and I looked everywhere in my wallet to make sure that I wasn't delusional and it's not in there.
