My over a month stay at this property is by far the Best stay I have ever had and I say that with great heart! Clean rooms, all the housekeeping team fantastic job, Leslie Karen Ellie, Jessica their Manager, she is one tough professional she does excellent job. I asked once, just once, if they have any paper cups for coffee. I like the paper cups better even though they have very nice coffee mugs in the room actually. They made sure every day I had extra cups! My goodness thank you! Restaurant menu was sexy! Baja Fish Tacos were my favourite!! They are fully open now so Chef has a great Menu our! Chef and all Managers along with all the FnB staff are personable, well trained and work from the heart! Can’t beat that. Thank you Eric and Mario and Rudy for getting my British Witty sense of humour and just loved to see me every day. Allison you are in my heart! Front Office magnificent! Jordan, Tess, Jewel, Mike, Aorline, they just went above and beyond every single day to please and to deliver. Chief of Engineering Matt, is such a fast professional and full of smiles. What a great team! He sure loves this property and takes care of everything.

On my last day it was so hard to even pack. I hardly slept knowing I will miss them so much and that balcony view to the Marina every day and at Sunset is amazing!

I just didn’t want to leave them. I was going back to work, out of State, and this hotel became my home. My dogs and I felt so at ease and truly loved. Thank you to their GM! He cares about the Team and their Guests and he loves his job! All of those people became family to me. They touched my heart so much.

I can tell you about the view and the rooms and the staff and the Lobby, the flowers, the shined floors day in and out. But what we are all, as travellers, looking for when we check into a Hotel, is really That connection with the staff that makes us feel cared for and loved and important. There is always a small doubt or fear when you book a room and you’ve never stayed there before. You wonder if it is as the pictures show and if the people that work there do really care. Will I have what I ask or can they accommodate my needs? The dream team I call them, was excellent! Beautiful stay beautiful people!!! The Hotel is beautiful and very simple at the same time. They also have phones with Bluetooth which I liked for my music.

On my last day the whole team had a surprise for me. I was so humbled by them. What a great gesture, who does something like that unless they really love you! I miss them already!

I have stayed at Hotel Indigo in Everett on several occasions for business and belong to the IHG One Rewards Program. My previous positive experiences lead me to feeling confident about reserving a room described as having a balcony with a water view. I also have previously had positive experiences of the front desk staff, who have in the past been excellent representatives of quality customer service. This stay was quite different in terms of both the expectations of the room that I reserved and my experience of the front desk staff. Firstly, the room I reserved for a king with a balcony and water view was not a balcony one could sit out on, and there were no chairs in any case. Secondly, the view from the room could be said to have a water view, if one had brought binoculars with them; the majority of the view was of a lower-level roof -- with all its corresponding equipment - and all the floors of windows on the perpendicular hallway of rooms, lending to a sense of loss of any privacy. Thirdly, when I asked the two font desk staff about the so-called ocean view, they launched into an explanation of the building architecture - over which they had no control. There was no offer to move me to another room. I can only assume that instead of them feeling any need to offer an alternative that the expectation was that the focus of consideration should move from me (as a paying customer and loyal member) to them as helpless staff. Finally, when checking in, one of the front desk staff abruptly informed me that IHG had instituted a new policy of charring $12 per day for parking. "That's new and unexpected," I replied. "The policy began on August 15th, and you booked the room after that." My stay was on August 22nd. In summary, I paid $364.94 for one night's stay in a room with a less than adequate "balcony" and lunar-landing approach ocean view. AND I paid an additional surprise fee for parking. I originally called ahead of time to this location as I saw in my IHG account that I had a reward night available to use and have been wanting to check out this particular location because of its location on the waterfront and the pictures of this property looked pretty awesome. I called and spoke to Angi, she took the time to answer all the questions I had such as parking, room preference and things to do which was amazing. After a long day visiting with family down south in the Puyallup area my wife and I decided it might be a great idea to stop for the night. I called again and spoke to Angi to let her know that will would be arriving late evening and she assured us our room would be ready and waiting for us and there is nothing to worry about and she was excited for our arrival. When we arrived for check-in Angi was still working, she greeted us with a smile, explained their amenities and directed us to our room. As we got to our room, my wife and I were just amazed with the cleanliness and decorative marine feel the room had being that we both love being on the water. Also there was complimentary champagne and chocolates which again made this experience as I call it more cherries added to the existing sundae. After a great nights rest, we had a delicious breakfast downstairs in the morning and took a walk throughout the marina just before checkout. At check-out we again saw Angi tell us good morning with a smile. My wife stated she wanted to come back the following weekend for another planned getaway and told Angi hopefully we can catch you next weekend.

I must say that out of all the IHG properties that I have stayed at in the past year I have never met a more nice, professional and exciting person such as Angi.
