One of my favorite places to go that's close to downtown Everett, I have found all kinds of beautiful crystals and fossilized bones, petrafied wood, my dog loves running around at low tide, there's not alot of parking although there's not usually many people, it seems to get very busy around sunset, people wanting to take quick sunset picsbut they usually come and go pretty quickly,. if you are a ROCKHOUND like myself i HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking out the north beach as there is a cliff that is eroding and that's where l find most of my "treasures" I found a hatchet head without the handle, just the stone, havnt taken it anywhere for analysis yet but plan on it soon! Definitely a beach worth checking out, I have seen all kinds of WILDLIFE like, great blue herons, coyote, seals, bald eagles, hawks, crabs, starfish, little fish, river rats, owls, and I swear I saw a fox one evening, on clear nights it's a pretty good place to star watch also! -dogs on leash (I let mine off and it has never been an issue) -no playground -no restroom facilities -there is a grass area between the beach and the road that you could spread a blanket out for picnic, there is no picnic tables, there are few benches -garbage receptacles to throw away picnic garbage, empty drink...
