Should be called “Pit Stop Inn” 😊 Arrived at 11pm checked out by 7:30am. Nightly parking lot was full but in the am it was cleared out! THIS IS THE PERFECT RESTING SPOT!! The beds were clean, mini fridge/freezer was the perfect size for our yeti cooler pack, Nicole was to the point, she supplied us with toothbrushes & toothpaste so we did not have to unpack!! BUT the reason for four stars and not 5 is because whomever cleaned room 206 was only concerned with making sure the bed was clean :( so the countertops were dirty, the floor was dirty and the toilet bowl was not fully cleaned. Thankfully I travel with disinfectant and cleaning supplies and the rooms were recently remodeled! Morning coffee was chocolate covered strawberries, which was a bit different but not horrible. The walls are thin and we did get woken up by the entitled people in room 207 .. they decided to drag all the chairs from inside the hotel room to the balcony and smoke dope, with friends laughing and waking others up….. there is a Cracker Barrel across the street. We will definitely stay here again as this is the 1/2 way point to our families home. Safe travels y’all!

At first when we checked in we were very sketched out because when we walked in we noticed the door halfway exposed, could see outside through the AC unit, and the sheets had pee stains or whatever (thank god we did not have a black light or else.) Every step I took in our room the floor was a different level, the toilet was loose and rocked. But we finally settled in and it was okay. For breakfast its like a pot luck style you could say, make your own pancakes on skillets you would use for camping, eggs/sausage/hard boiled eggs/sausage gravy kept in croc pots. Then like pop tarts and granola bars and such. Breakfast was good and no complaints on that. I didn’t interact much with the workers but they all seemed friendly, and the area seems like a good area. The hotel was not worth the $150 a night but we came for the race and every hotel jacks the rates up so we chose this hotel based off value/best reviews. You can tell there is no corporate help which it needs, it has good bones but just needs to be remodeled and cleaned up. Also the decorations for race weekend was cute.

The most awful hotel I've stayed at over the past 20 years. Nothing you see on their website is accurate. The property itself draws a lot of unsafe activity. Mold growing from our ceiling, a 3/4" gap in the door where we watched bugs come right through. Active leak in the bathroom ceiling, room wreaked of pot and dog urine. Floors are black in many areas with filth. Yellow spots on the sheets. An absolute nightmare of a place, only outdone by the awful front desk staff that will tell you, "take it or leave it" if you bring it to their attention. NEVER AGAIN.

"T" at the front desk and the manager lady, can't think of her name but I'll update when I find out.... they're wonderful! Very sweet and even covered one night of my reservation at no cost. Very appreciative of them, they both deserve a raise! They know what Customer Service is all about and it's nice to see people who are still kind and understanding this day & age. Most would have canceled the reservation until I arrived with payment at 3am... over a technical glitch. So thank you and 5 stars 🌟 to these ladies! As for the hotel itself, beautiful front office area, looks newly renovated and the rooms are very comfortable and clean as well. A tiny plus that I appreciated was the Makeup Removing Wipes at the sink in my room. Didn't have that at my previous Red Roof location and I thought that was a tiny little extra convenience that makes you feel like they are thoughtful of their guests and want you to enjoy your stay and feel at home, unlike most places who just give the bare minimum. Plus this location has an indoor pool which is awesome. Haven't stayed at a Red Roof with a pool yet. Overall for the price this place is great and I will absolutely stay here again. Not only for the fair price, but the customer service and added conveniences. Absolutely the best Red Roof I've been to yet in SC! Very satisfied with my stay at this location! Thank...

I called ahead to reserve a first floor non-smoking room. The front desk young woman was very nice and assured me I didn't need to make a reservation. ||Upon arrival, the same young woman was wonderful... very friendly and got me checked in quickly. The location is right off I-95. Very convenient.||There is a coffee maker in the room which is a must for me. The room was remodeled... with about 5% still showing the former hotel. Nothing bad tho. The remodel is successful and is as the online pictures show. ||Was very surprised to see a rather large breakfast area in the lobby. I didn't think Red Roof Inns offered that. It seems they had a good selection of items just from the setup. I did not actually eat there.||The young man at the desk in the morning was very polite and helpful... as was the maid. (She helped me retrieve my cat from under the bed by just coming in the room and calling for her!)||The best --- the room did NOT have the stale smoke odor that many non-smoking rooms often do. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean.||The least -- for those with mobility problems, just know the lobby and breakfast room is in a separate building (along with the indoor pool) just in front of the guest rooms. So it is a quick/short walk across the parking lot to the...

The staff here was very accommodating but that's the only upside to staying here. It's ok for one night traveling through but if you are staying longer find somewhere else.

The continental breakfast was pretty sad and not stocked my second stay, a week after the first. The parking lot is filled with broken glass and pipes and bottles, trash everywhere, I felt pretty unsafe just trying to have my dog go to the bathroom. There's zero sound insulation from the outside world in the rooms so bring your earplugs if you want to get any sleep whatsoever. I'm glad the locks worked the area seems very suspect. The second room I had the bed was broken/box frame crushed, one bedside light didn't work and the rest of the room seemed like it had water damage that wasn't properly remediated: bathroom door didn't even fit the frame, drywall crumbling, flooring was curling and cracked.

This place may have had some remodeling but it's only on the surface and it needs some major care to be anything other than the quickest option for people looking for a single overnight stay on their way somewhere else traveling with a pet. I'll probably pay more in the future to stay...
