Walked in and no one was up front, Lady comes in and I ask if I can see a room before I purchased it. (I already knew I wasn’t staying here but I was bored and visiting new places.) Anyhow she asked if I ‘just got there’ and I replied, yes. So, again I asked if someone could simply open the door for 30 seconds so I could view the room. She said, no! I said, so no one can show me a room here? How much is the room. $65 she said as she’s tucking a towel up under the crack in the window, and I didn’t know if it was the draft or my brown skin that bothered her most. So, irritated I asked did she have a pool. She lightened up and said pool.. yeah pool down the street, you go there, down the street. So, I smiled and said ‘just say you don’t want me to be here.’ And politely left. Not good business practice, horrible customer service, and grateful for all my experiences while traveling. Culture is a beautiful thing 😘

My fiance and I stayed here for a couple of months trying to get on our feet. The owners at first we thought were decent people. We paid for the room. Spent well over a couple thousand dollars staying here. We had more contact with the wife than the husband. But the TV was stuck on one station told them about it multiple times they switched out remotes with that not working they done nothing else about it. We weren't to worried about that because we have apps for movies on our phones. So anyways the longer we stayed the more we realized how shady these people were. Right down to her asking how much money we have in our bank account! So we let it go. Brushed it off as just her being weird. We came and went as we needed to. Went to work all that. Well on one occasion when we got in from work my fiancé's bike was gone he went down to ask about it the lady told him the people who checked out next door took it she didn't know it wasn't theirs okay no biggie. Although she seen my fiance leave on his bike on multiple occasions, as I had our only car. So following week my fiance tells me that he has clothes missing. I told him it probably was just misplaced from doing laundry and we will find them so we went through clothes that were in our basket and bag from the laundry mat and they were not there. One outfit that was missing was brand new he never wore it so we brought that to the owners attention in which she replied no one has been in the room except for us no one had access to it (which we know is a lie because we locked ourselves out and their "cleaning guy" let us in with his key). Now here it is we have checked out and I packed all of our belongings and moved our things out, while unpacking I realized I have 4 rings missing. 1 is 2.5 carats worth quite a bit of money on its own. When I called them and brought it to their attention yet again that something else was missing she brushed it off and told me that no rings were found during their "clean up" of the room that I misplaced them or something no one had access but my fiance and I. Which is clearly a lie. At this point we have had more than 1000 dollars worth of things that mysteriously disappeared from the room while we were out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone not...

This was the absolute worst i have ever been treated. I went there with my wife. She went in and rented the room (90$) while i waited in the car because it was raining. We entered the room to a strong chemical smell. We disreguarded it because we didnt have the energy to travel another 20 minutes to another establishment. We took a nap. My wife is a night shift RN at a senior care center. She went on in to work. I ordered doordash and settled in for a night of self care. Befor my food ever arrived the room telephone started ringing. I picked it up. It was the front desk. They claimed she only rented the room until 5pm. I gave them a rebuttle and they would not accept it. It was dark and rainy and they put me out of the room. I tried to call my wife but she was at work. So i called the hotel. I ask if they would rent me a room for a few hours. Their answer was no, they stated that they do not offer any option other than a full night. I asked why they put me out of the room then. Their response was that since i was not a registered guest i could not be in the room. Im assuming they saw my wife leave in our car and not return. Im not certain if they pulled this stunt because she is black, because we are a lesbian couple, or because it was saturday january 1 and they just wanted to rerent the room to another unsuspecting victim. All of the above are unacceptable. I lived in a hotel for 2.5 years. It wasnt in my name. And 5 days of the week my partner would leave for work. They never once kicked me out. As a matter of a fact they treated me like a valued guest. So befor you waste your money in this old school sham of a business, i suggest you travel just a few more miles to florence and visit microtel inn and suites. They are very hospitable the rooms are clean and they treat you like a person not a paper maker.... This hotel gets a 0 out of 10. Lookout as in lookout were gonna...

When we walked into the office we seen checkout is 11am. However the lady told us it was 2pm. There was a sign saying you had 10 minutes to decide if you want it, we'll the lady grabbed the keys and walked us to the room which took 10 minutes because she had to keep trying and wiggling they key because it's so outdated. When we walked in we looked at the tv which was very outdated and she told us we had to call the company and set it up, they also advertise free wifi which they do not have. The lady left and I went into the restroom and noticed there was no sink, no towels, rags, shampoo, conditioner or anything, they also advertise online a kitchen area and in the corner by my bed there was a mini fridge and a very old microwave on top. That was the kitchen area. So I eventually go into the other room and found the sink. I sat on the bed and noticed the sheets were outdated and covered in burn holes. Also there were only 2 dim lights in the room, the door to the restroom didn't want to open and close also there was a hole in the restroom door. Also room was not cleaned there were drug particles on our table and the bathroom wall was covered in dirt. I wouldn't recommend this...
