Had a friend stay here with a little Chihuahua. They had them in a pet friendly room paid a deposit, but apparently wasn’t allowed to leave his dog in the room. Check out the owner cops because the dog was left in the room. We went up the street for lunch. And at lunch, we received a call Police officer asking if we had booked a hotel there which no I did not but apparently you have to give your ID if you go and see someone there. They literally chase you down the hall to get that said he had to come back because he had missed check out and his dog was unattended. After talking to the police officer, he had called the front desk to let him know that he was coming back where he was screamed at by the guy for 20 minutes and told if we weren’t there in 10 minutes, he was giving his dog to the police by the time we got there Was still not time there was still time The only thing that made him late on checking out, was listening to this guy scream at him for a half hour then when it came time to leave, they had checked the room to make sure there was no damages from the dog, the little 5 pound dog and the guy said it was perfectly fine with the police officer in the room too because apparently you need a cop for this situation And then after he leaves, his card is charged multiple times large amounts from the hotel due to whatever doesn’t even know after keeping the $150 pet deposit. Do yourself a favor and...
Read moreStayed here for a few nights and it wasn’t great at all.
Pros: Staff who checked us in was very kind and helpful.
Cons: This place isn’t Hilton standard at all. They slapped some newer finishes over an old motel and are trying to pass it off as nice when it isn’t. The hotel smells bad, the carpets in the hall are dirty, our shower was grimey, flooring in the bathroom/sink area was old and stained, the a/c unit put off a lot of dust so our allergies were terrible. The tv remote barely worked half the time. The guests next to us were yelling and screaming down the hall, walls are thin and there was some sketchy activity going on in the side parking lot of the hotel. I didn’t feel safe or comfortable here in any way. The coffee that is offered downstairs looks like thick muddy water, no lie. It was disgusting so I made daily trips to Starbucks instead. The extended bagel bar in the morning offered no nutritional food. The garbage out front was always over flowing and there was garbage in the parking lot that never got picked up until I picked it up and threw it away because I was sick of looking at it. This hotel is a motel at best. It’s not worth the price and I would never stay here again. Patel Cartel needs to step...
Read moreWe were denied a refund by the property who kept blaming the third-party we booked this through, hotels.com. We use the third-party because we got a better rate. Once we got to the property and realize our mistake we paid for the current weekend we wanted to cancel The incorrect reservation and get a refund but were denied by both the hotel and the third-party company that made the reservation. We went back-and-forth several times and it is our belief that the hotel had the ability to make an exception and refund the money. We paid for Memorial Day weekend, which was more expensive and we will not use the reservation for next weekend. It was an honest mistake to reserve the wrong weekend and we believe that the hotel is the discretion to approved a refund. In our estimate that would’ve been the better more ethical choice. Now I’m writing this negative review because we paid for the services rendered, and now we have to pay double because of an honest mistake. This is how you lose business. We will never stay there again, even though it’s close to where...
