Americana Motel — Hotel in Four Corners States

This is a Route 66 historical motel. Very dated. It is dirty enough for us to decide using our own pillows and made us sleep in our sleeping bag on top of the bed. It is not the worst motel we have being in, however they need to wash better their pillows and not only the pillow cases. The air filters clearly needed to be clean. The whole room smell like chorizo because of the air from the AC. The location is very good to see some of the neons from the motels at this town of the route 66. It had free wifi, free parking (the traditional in front of your room of a motel), and a fridge. The price was one of the best ones and that made us pick it, however, there is another historical motel in the same town that has an extra cool vibe plus great neon, plus is renovated and you can park your car like inside of a garage near your room. If I stay in this town again I would try the other one. Forget about the free breakfast. They have a fridge in their office in theory with some breakfast inside but it has a lock and they did not open it the morning we were there. pets allowed if...

My boyfriend stayed here for one night and I came to visit while he was in town and I was appalled by what I saw. This place isn’t even worth 1 star. I have pictures and videos as well (unfortunately I can’t add them to the review so if you would like - please contact me and I’ll GLADLY send them to you) there were stains all over the bed sheets, furniture, everywhere and I literally mean EVERYWHERE. All of the lamp shades were busted and to top it off - THE LOCK ON THE DOOR GETS JAMMED SO IT TAKES FOREVER TO GET INTO THE ROOM. When we speak to the front desk about all of these issues all we got was an attitude from hell and the lady at the front desk accusing me of staying with my boyfriend when I was just visiting him in the motel. None of the issues were fixed and he is losing money because they won’t provide a refund. I wouldn’t wish my worst enemies to stay...

OK so my wife and I helped out her sister and decided to go with this hotel. Long story short she used her id due to the reason that her ex is very very abusive and she was leaving him, and didn't want him to find her. Then on the check out day the owner opened the door on her. He noticed that it wasn't my wife and wanted to call the cops and he charged us more again!! The owner is really rude, disrespectful and nosey!! If you leave a "mess" he will charge your card again!! The stay is horrible you can't sleep due to all the parties thrown by the locals. The area is filled with drug addicts and some even "live" in that motel!! Do do it yes you want a cheap hotel room but it's not worth it.
