Stayed on site for a week-long family vacation to Disney. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Vanessa, who was extremely welcoming and polite, allowing us to check in early. Vanessa provided exceptional service and gave us a lot of helpful information about the property's amenities. When we walked into 412A, our two-bedroom suite, we were very happy with the layout but extremely dissatisfied with the cleanliness. The room seemed half-assed cleaned with many areas missed, including a broken kitchen sink, bathroom sink issues, dirty dishes, and more.
I immediately called Vanessa, who was apologetic and offered to move us to another room once one became available. She also arranged for maintenance and housekeeping to inspect the suite. Maintenance arrived quickly, and Angel and Jorge worked together professionally and attentively to fix the sinks. Although the sinks couldn’t be fully repaired, they assured us they were fully usable and offered to help with a room move.
Later, we discovered the master shower floor was broken and unstable, making it unsafe to use. We switched to the bathtub but then got a call from Nikki at the front desk informing us that the tub was leaking into the room below. Kevin came to inspect, confirmed the leak, and professionally explained we could not use the tub. He also offered to move us, but no rooms were available.
When housekeeping arrived, I met the manager, Antonio, who was rude and unprofessional. He insisted the room was cleaned and inspected thoroughly before check-in and implied that any mess was our fault. This attitude was disappointing and added to our frustration. We decided to stay put since we would be out most of the day and asked Nikki to ensure these issues were properly addressed.
On day two, my son met Maritza from activities. She was outgoing, professional, compassionate, and patient while managing multiple guests. My son looked forward to seeing her each day, and she always greeted him with a smile. Maritza is truly an asset to the team.
On day four, guests in unit 412B were smoking weed heavily, causing an unbearable stench throughout our unit and the stairwell. When I called the front desk, staff had already left for the evening, so I spoke with Brian, the security guard on duty. He apologized immediately, made his rounds, and confronted the guests, informing them smoking inside was not allowed and would incur a penalty. Thanks to Brian’s professionalism, the issue stopped immediately.
With one day left before checkout, we received packages. Nikki kindly called to advise us they were available for pickup at the front desk and addressed me by name, showing genuine care and making us feel welcome.
Overall, while we faced several challenges with cleanliness and maintenance, the efforts of Vanessa, Angel, Jorge, Kevin, Brian, Nikki, and Maritza stood out for their professionalism...

This was supposed to be a peaceful getaway for my family, but it turned into a complete nightmare at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Orlando Breeze Resort. I’m writing this so NO other family ends up sick, stressed, and disgusted like we did.
My daughter and I are both highly allergic to mold and have respiratory issues. Within hours of checking in, we were coughing, wheezing, and having trouble breathing. That’s when we discovered a filthy, mold-infested pull-out mattress, stained furniture, thick dust everywhere, and dirty utensils in the kitchenette. The room was NOT cleaned properly, and clearly hadn’t been inspected in a long time.
But it gets worse: there was a jack stand holding up a load-bearing wall outside the entrance. It was unsecured and dangerously placed—completely exposed where any child could knock it loose. It could have collapsed with the slightest touch. We reported it to the staff, who did absolutely nothing. Instead, they sat outside chain-smoking cigarettes while we feared for our safety. We had no choice but to call the fire department to get them to fix it.
Only after emergency services showed up did they finally respond.
The assistant manager, Nicole, originally acknowledged how bad things were and offered to have the room deep cleaned, replace the moldy mattress, and give us day passes to a nearby resort so our kids could enjoy the day while things were being handled. We made plans based on her promises.
Then she ghosted us and reversed everything. No cleaning. No replacement. No passes. She refused to even call me directly and claimed management wasn’t available until Monday. Later, she admitted they WERE available—just “too busy” to deal with guest safety. It was appalling.
We were eventually moved to a second room. “Pent house” Guess what? Also disgusting. Also moldy. This wasn’t a one-off—it’s a systemic issue here.
We left sick, frustrated, and disgusted. This place should be shut down. It is NOT safe, NOT clean, and NOT family-friendly. We’ll be reporting this to: • Florida Department of Health • DBPR (hotels division) • OSHA • Florida Attorney General’s Consumer Division • Local fire marshal
Until they fix this disaster, I urge families: Do NOT stay here. Your health, your children, and your sanity are not worth it. Holiday Inn...
Read moreWe randomly chose this hotel due to the impending hurricane. We were due for a direct impact, so we packed up and headed to this area as it was also close to family. We were pleasantly surprised when we drove in as it is situated in a perfect location, and it’s not a huge resort. The front desk staff is amazing and nice; Vanessa checked us in and was super sweet. The unit itself was spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. We booked a 3 bedroom and we had so much room. Each kiddo got their own room and the closet space itself was amazing! If you are planning on staying for a long period of time, you will be all set! We just grabbed groceries and cooked all our meals there. Our actual unit had a great sized playground right when we walked out and a pool out front, in addition to the main pool. We hunkered down for the hurricane as it did turn and get this area, but we never lost power and while it was loud outside, we were very comfortable inside. My only complaint, and it’s not really a complaint, is it could use a little updating. It was mostly clean (I’m super picky, so my perspective may be off), but it could have used a little more TLC. Not enough for me to complain though! We will 💯 return because it was like this little gem! Plenty of shopping nearby, close to the parks if you want and also close to the main roads, but you aren’t in the midst of everything so it’s not so hectic. The bedrooms were fine for my kids and the beds were actually comfortable! My kids LOVED it-tvs in every room, a huge activity center (they loved going there), a small movie theater, board games to rent out and a little market right on premises. I give this place a 9.8/10 and cannot wait to return under different circumstances. Next time, we will go to relax and enjoy more. In addition, the price was just right and I had no issue with that. We...
