Over all it seemed like a nice place. The people were friendly BUT there are some big pros and cons
PROS friendly and professional -my stylist did a great job with my haircut and layers
CONS -they were late in opening. My apt was for 930am. I got there at 920am and the door was locked even thou the sign flashed saying open and their times on the door said 9am. No one showed up until 945am. I spent the time calling other hair dressers to find someone else but everywhere else was booked so I waited.
-I got my bang cut after letting them grow out for over a year, the stylist did not cut them the way I had asked. I said I wanted them cut at an angle to the left and blended in so I could side sweep them....she cut it in a straight line with no blending. I did not realize until my hair was dry at home
-they charge minimum $30 to blow dry your hair (which is why I never noticed she screwed up my bangs). In my experience blow-dry is included in a haircut ESPECIALLY when doing bangs to make sure it sits how the customer wants it
-the stylist told me not to use Conditioner...I have thin fine hair and this is the first time in my life I was told not to use it...next time I go to any hairdresser for a cut I plan to make sure they have experience in fine hair types
-it felt like they only used the bare minimum of products. My hair was washed with shampoo...at the last minute she used a tiny amount of something in my hair before I left. I've been to $15 hair dressers in the past and they out in a little more "pamper" effort...this place I felt like I was rushed in and out
Unfortunately the cons to me outweigh the pros. I love how my cut and layers turned out but even the simple fact they opened late and they didn't even apologize for that scored a big no in my books. I always say you get what you pay for but in this case I don't feel like I did.
Lovely people but I won't be returning the next time...
Read moreI came in after growing my hair for 3 years and having virgin hair. I specifically wanted to go full blonde and Adrianna, who was building her clientele, convinced me to do highlights as she stated it would be better for the health of my hair. I trusted her judgement as a stylist and followed her advice after she showed me a reference photo of what my hair would look like (very tight highlighted blonde hair). However I ended up with very chunky highlights and a choppy cut (with my roots showing after ONE week). During my service I asked multiple times to confirm we’d be going full blonde at the next session, she confirmed each time. After my appt I reached out to get a quote and she informed me she’d do more highlights, but if I wanted to go full blonde it would be considered a color correction and more expensive. A color correction on what she did? After I came in with virgin hair and the clear end goal of going full blonde? I cancelled the appt because I found that ridiculous. And because of what she did to my hair, I WILL end up having to pay more so another skilled stylist can fix her mistakes. Two consults later and I’m told she did a poor job and they’ll have to pick out individual pieces of my hair to get me to the full blonde I want. I recommend to go elsewhere. Nowhere with my communication with the stylist did she offer to rectify the issue she caused herself. Only telling me it will cost more to fix the...
Read moreThe first time I tried this place, they did a good job and dyed my hair and did my highlight. The 2nd time doing my hair with a different girl, who's since been fired, I left with 3 different colors in my hair and without my roots touched up. This 3rd time, I went back because a third lady had assured me that she could correct what the other girl had done (as she was throwing shade on her and didn't seem to like her much). She said the SHE was a "professional". So I trusted her to fix it and she did an even worst job... I now have 5 different colors in my hair (I'm not talking strands, it's whole sections) my roots are still not colored and the hightlights at the very front of my hair look WHITE not blonde. (I look like Rogue from the X-Men)... and I have an event at work on Monday. She proceeded to blame shift every which way and backward, which only made the experience worse. Maybe if she had done as much listening as she did talking she would have got it right. I paid $212, wasted several hours and I'm worse off then when I walked in there. Definitely did not get "Slayed." Honestly, they should fix this for free, but I don't want to waste any more time with them. I'm done giving them chances to get it right. I won't be back! I was going to add pictures but somehow that feature seems to...
