Pho Lovers — Restaurant in Garden Grove

Parking is pretty easy to find in this location. The restaurant is right across from 85C bakery. The restaurant is pretty open and bright as you walk in. The menu is a big and heavy orange folder. The pho is a single size option. What is nice is that cold tea or hot tea is free. The restroom is available but you will need to get the 4 digit passcode at the cashier area. The food portion is generous and the broth is light and has a sweet aftertaste. No bruised or wilted basil, no brown bean sprouts or dried up lime. The provided veggies are all very fresh, green and crunchy. The Sriracha provided is actually a lot spicier, sweeter and more garlic flavor than huy fung. I like spicy food so I really enjoyed their spicy Sriracha hot sauce a lot. Another cool feature is the Red "Call" button on the table. I’ve been around this place when it changed around 5 owners and never had a problem with them or their employees, it was actually quite the opposite But the current employees don’t have that same quality and seem like they get angry if you try and have small talk with them also this one guy kept questioning my order for some reason. When I went to use the restroom and came back I told the same server that was questioning what I wanted to eat ,that there were no more paper towels in the restroom as a courtesy and I did it very politely then he yelled at me “ the restroom in the back” I was so confused by this then I realize that it was probably a language barrier thing but I don’t see why he had to yell at me They just lost a long time customer, I feel very sad because I’ve been to this certain restaurant for so long even back when it was...

My mother and I came here for dinner today. I got a pho tai, and my mom got a pho ga. I got mine served immediately and decided to wait until my mom got hers before eating. After sitting there waiting for 30 minutes with no updates from the waiter, my mom and I asked the cashier for the status. He said they were backed up in the kitchen, and we had to wait, so my mom switched it to pho tai instead, and I decided to pay for it there since we were already up there. When we came back to the table, the bussers had already dumped my pho away and started cleaning the table. I never got to take a bite of the pho at all.
