Smoky Top Lodge Serierville TN 4bed 4 full bath 2 half bath with "pool not really a pool in my opinion" The Company managing the property is great easy to book easy to communicate with. The view is in yhe front of the cabin not the deck side. Parking has enough space for small vehicles. 2 large but parking is not very deep for large trucks or suv's. The cabin itself is nice rooms are big bathrooms are nice but there are no hair dryers. There is a master on the main floor, Master on top floor, the two other rooms share a jack and Jill bath on top floor. The quality of blankets could be improved the blankets are very thin so if u get cold like me bring your own blanket. Or request extra blankets before your stay. If you plan on using the pull outs u will need to request the linen as no extras are in the cabin. Kitchen was stocked decently as far as pots and pans utensils plates and cups. However no plastic ones for young children. Now onto this so called pool the pictures make it look bigger than it is it maybe 8ft by 4ft if that and maybe 3ft deep only really usable for young children. Water was cold so wouldn't be very enjoyable. No pool towels were provided like shown in pictures so bring ur own. There is a full bath in the pool area. There is a nice resort pool but we never used as we were out most of the time but we also were never provided the access code. The hot tube is warm but never felt like it got up to full temperature or maybe I just like my water hotter than normal. There is 1 video game barrel table that didn't work on our visit so not much for kids to do in this cabin. There is a gas grill but no grilling utensils or cleaning brush. Cabin would be good for families with small children or adults only older teens wouldn't have fun here unless more video games were added. Overall the cabin is nice well taken care of just could use a few things to improve its usability to make it better for families with older kids.

We used this company for a Church Youth Group winter retreat. We planned for a Friday through Monday stay and upon arriving on Friday had no power in our cabin, due to the cabin being on a well system we also had no water. I called several times for updates to which no real answer was given for us. The next morning power was still not restored so I called the company again and asked about the possibility of moving to another cabin or something being done because we couldn’t continue to stay in a cabin without power or water. We were unable to do anything, we couldn’t cook meal or even use the restroom due to these inconveniences. I was told that a manager would give me a call at 9am. I called back shortly after 9 to check again with them to which I was told a manager was unavailable but would call me asap. We then had to take our group of teenagers into town and go out to eat (an expense we didn’t plan for). After eating and taking our group into town to kill time I called the office back yet again and happened to get a manager to answer, this manager told me that we would be given a new cabin to stay in and everything would be made right, he would call me back in a hour. 2 hours later upon me having to call them back again I would learn they didn’t have any cabin to move us to but again couldn’t get a manager on the phone. Nobody could tell me anything to do and we still had no power or water. I decided to go to the resort office to resolve the issue which once again we could not speak to anyone in management that could actually help us, so here I am with a group of teenage kids with a cabin that has no power or water and can’t get any help from the cabin rental company. After calling back multiple times trying to get some kind of a resolution and their failure to respond I had to make the call to go home (over three hours away) of course power was restored as we where packing up but then continued to go off and on the entire time we were packing along with the cabin firealarms going off like crazy as well. Due to the continued inconsistencies of the power and fire alarms we decided it was still best to leave because they were clearly still having issues and didn’t want to just keep putting off a 3 hour trip that would have to be made. Now trying to talk to the company about being reimbursed for this horrible stay and the companies lack of ability to do anything, even give me a call back. I’m still unable to speak to a manager and was actually told by the person on the phone that management didn’t want to speak to me, they refuse to reimburse us for our stay because they said “power did come on” though the power never actually stayed on. I would not recommend anyone stay using this company. Their management will not resolve any issues you have or even take the time to speak to you...

We were placed in Tequila Sunrise after the cabin we had booked was sold. Upon arrival we couldn’t get in because the code box needed a new battery (this took an hour). There were no clean towels at all, no pillowcases and none of the beds had correct linens. We did find 4 dirty towels left in the bathroom by previous guests. We had to wash these ourselves to be able to shower because it took over 24 hours to get towels and linens. The kitchen that was supposed to be equipped for 16 guests had 1 pan and 2 skillets. We were offered $200 back for our trouble because “they fixed the issues”. NOT true. We had to make up the beds once we got the linens, wash and put away the box of pans they brought and wash towels before we could even shower- WE were our own housekeeping but were told they can’t refund any of the fees. To make matters worse, 5 days later, they hadn’t processed the refund and then they tried to change the amount because they didn’t believe I was promised $200 - which wasn’t even enough to begin with! They “needed to listen to the call first to make sure I was told that” before it would be processed. I can NOT say enough negative about this bunch. 6 phone calls during our 3 day stay and 4 calls after we got home, a pitiful 13% refund after being called a liar- HORRIBLE! The only reason there was one star is because I couldn’t leave ZERO. I would also like to add that we have been staying in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area during the season for 20+ years and have never had issues or left...
