I arrived to the location and upon walking into the vestibule area I was greeted by two pallets of contractor supplies and debris on the floor. Entering the lobby the building was clearly under construction. The ladies checking me in were very sweet and kind. As I went to my room the broken tiles on the floor and the carpets that had not appeared to be vacuumed in quite some time along with all the paint splattered on the floor was giving me a not so good feel of what I was getting into. Upon arriving on my floor the elevator tiles were pretty gross and uneven / level to the elevator tracks making a rolling bag difficult to roll into the elevator. The carpets again were destroyed and the baseboards were all removed it was not a good feeling going to the room. Once in my room the room appeared to have been recently remodeled, however the carpets were not part of that remodel and there was a huge stain in the middle of the floor. The bathroom door was nasty and needed to be wiped down and there was a bit of construction debris on the floor and inside the bathtub area. The soap and shampoo dispensers were pieced together and were kind of gross to be honest. Because I was so shocked at what I was seeing when I first arrived I left my purse at the front desk and the female manager brought it up to me. I did have much words to say other than I was very uncomfortable there and didn’t think I could stay. She acknowledged me very kindly to say that at that hour there probably wasn’t a place for me to go other than where I was but that she understood me and asked me to give it a try. I felt so uncomfortable but I also had never experienced anything like what I was going through and I didn’t have any options so I agreed to stay. My nights stay wasn’t super bad but the pillows all smelled like mildew and I couldn’t really sleep with them. Breakfast, There was only a couple of tables to sit down as the rest were either stacked on top of each other or covered with construction debris. The food was not really edible and honestly I was afraid to really eat anything because of all the debris and dust everywhere. It was just overall a very bad experience and one I had never had before and I travel every week for work. I would not recommend this location to anyone simply for those reasons. The staff was very nice though it just was a dirty building and they couldn’t do much about that other than maybe not be open until this was more under control. I wasn’t even offered to receive additional points or help to find a more suitable place to stay which I thought would have been nice of them to offer at least. Reviews like this will surely be a negative to their business...
Read moreIf you enjoy sleeping with cockroaches, this is the place for you. We had two rooms. They both had bugs. It’s hard to rest well when you are worried about bugs crawling on you. The door to our room was broken. You had to close it over & over again until it would finally latch (or let it slam and that would sometimes work). When we got back to our room one evening, it wasn’t closed. Our room had been left open by the cleaning crew due to the problem with it not latching. The cleaning crew didn’t remove the trash from one of our rooms all weekend. One of the bed covers had some kind of dried brown stuff on it. Two of the lamps in a room were broken, and one of them wouldn’t even come on. The elevator made terrible noises that sounded like the cables could snap at any moment. The last night we were there, we went to the pool. It was trashed. We had to clean up someone's mess before we could relax and enjoy the area. Around 10:00 pm the desk clerk on duty came out and told us there had been a noise complaint. I know we were making some noise, but nothing really loud or inappropriate. At the hotel right next door, there were kids at the pool literally screaming and yelling so loudly it could be heard inside our hotel, and we explained that to the clerk. He told us the pool would be closing at 11:00 and he would be back then to be sure we were gone. The pool is supposed to be open until 11:30 pm Friday – Sunday. I called before making my reservation to check on the pool hours because we knew we’d be gone during the day and wouldn’t be getting back to the hotel until around 9 pm each night. The times are also posted on the rules board outside the pool. We pointed that out to the clerk and told him we would be gone before then. We weren’t doing anything wrong, or breaking any rules. At around 11 pm the clerk came back out at told us he was closing the pool. We were already out of the water at that point, packing up our stuff, and cleaning up. This entire situation made us feel bullied. He was rude, and showed considerable lack of customer service. His deficiency in understanding the service industry was further demonstrated by the fact that his vehicle was parked in the fire zone right up front in the drop-off/loading area meant for patrons. Had there been an option for us to switch hotels, we would have done it. Unfortunately, places...

Breakfast buffet was picked up 20 minutes before breakast was to be closed. There were no plates or edible brealfast food out except for some cereal. The container under the heat lamp only had water which had condensated from the eggs stuck to the sides of the container. There was a full tray of burnt biscuits and 2 sausage patties that looked to have been there for a couple of days. The juice was so watered down, it barely had an apple taste. The coffee was warm, not hot and tasted stale, it tasted like the left over coffee from the other containers had been emptied into one dispenser. When I asked the manager at the front desk why breakfast was closed 20 minutes early? She asked me what time it was? I pointed to the clock on the hotel wall... She told me to go knock on the door by the buffet and ask for whatever we wanted that was picked up already. I had no idea what they had served prior to my arrival at 9:10am
The female that answered the door had a look on her face that let me know she was not happy to have to put more food out. She brought out some eggs on a disposable dinner plate and 3 cinnamon rolls. She was determined not to do more than necessary. We were told the pancake machine had broke, so it was closed.
The only positive interaction we had was with the male desk clerk that checked us in. He was friendly, gave us all the information on where the room was located and pointed out all of the individual information provided on the back of the key envelope. I don't remember his name, but he deserves praise for doing his job great and...
