Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Gonzales

We were looking for an affordable lunch and free wifi. Got both here. It's a rather small town so I think they did alright by us. First of all, the place looked dark and we could see chairs on a table so we assumed they were closed. We called their number which was a switchboard for all Pizza Huts. That was maddening since you have to give them your phone number and location before they will talk to you. They confirmed that they were open and had the lunchtime Buffet so we went in. There was a damaged ceiling due to a recent storm so they had stacked the chairs on the tables in that area. There is no salad bar but after I asked about salad, they brought me a large fresh salad. They wait until people start showing up before putting Pizza out but they promptly did along with a dish of pasta to scoop from. For the amount of traffic they get (not much) I think they did an adequate job. Nothing special, just a small version of the usual Pizza Hut Buffet. I do want to add that the man that waited on us...

Ok, let me start off by saying rating would be 5 stars (because of quality of pizza alone), but I have had serious money issues with this particular Pizza Hut. DO NOT PAY W/ YOUR CREDIT CARD AT THIS LOCATION!!! I don't know how they do it, but they've scammed $7+ on each ( not all, but some) purchase I've used my credit card on. I never noticed it b4, until 1 week we were budgeting money. When I called for my money total it said there was $7 added to my online purchase delivery ( which didn't show up online). This happened several times after ( SO I ONLY PAY IN CASH NOW)...When I called the store, the manager woman was very rude & gave me corporates #. When I got contacted by corporate, all they had was the stores printout, which matched what was supposed to be our total. I don't know if some1 was adding extra tip money to the computer & deleting or forging credit slips w/ a different tip amount. MY RECOMMENDATION:. DON'T PAY W/ YOUR CREDIT CARD....PAY W/ CASH ONLY. Placed a pick up order last night, when I arrived male employee was picking up pizza off the floor putting into pizza box that apparently was my pizza, so I asked what the hell is going on here,standing with the last 2 pieces in hand, with a crazy look on his face not knowing what to say just walked to the back, so female employee walks up laughing, then ask if I still wanted the pieces that he had picked up and placed back into the box, trying not to lose it,I say hell no,so female employee yelled back,make another one, so a different male comes from the back with no gloves on started making the new pizza, nobody handling the food was wearing gloves,I never received an apology,not offered any complimentary food or drink items for my inconvenience or the extra wait, then when 2nd pizza was done,a 4th employee put pizza on the counter assuming may have been the manager and said here you go,Gonzales Pizza Hut has poor people relations skills,bad...
