This is our third visit back, and have been so very pleased.
Pool/Spa: I've been getting up and running in the early mornings, and every day, one of the maintenance men is cleaning out the pool and spa. The seating around the pool is considerable, with at least two shaded tables (I've seen a third out on occasion) and a dozen (or more) reclining lounge chairs, and also kept clean of trash, leaves, flowers, etc. My three children practically live at the pool, so having a pristine pool and spa is wonderful.
Showers: The restrooms/showers are closed from 1-3pm every day for a thorough cleaning. On occasion, a showerhead or handle might prove problematic (I've found this to be the case during spring break when the park is crawling with older, usually exuberant, children and young adults). When such a case arises, a quick pop-in at the office to notify them will result in repairs being made within a day or two.
Speed bumps: I'm addressing this because it was addressed on an earlier review. There are seven speed bumps throughout the park, but do not prove to be a problem when one is driving the designated 5mph. It's also a great way to slow down anyone driving faster, which makes me nervous with such limited visibility (how easy is it for someone to come out from between trailers, or the occasional dog that gets loose?). The speed bumps can be seen on satellite view, as they are painted white and cross the park roads.
Laundry: Laundry loads are $1.25 for wash, $1 for dry. Wash = about 35 minutes, Dry = about 45 minutes. Well maintained, and the room is kept clean. I believe the hours are 8am to 9pm and there are 8 of each machine (8 wash, 8 dry), although there might be 9, I can't remember. One rolling laundry cart is available. They also have a bookcase in the back corner for book exchange.
Office/Store: Recently remodeled, well-maintained and clean! Nice little selection for basics, ice, soda machine, coffee machine, nice selection in the gift store.
There is a lovely little patio off of the back side of the office, with chairs and umbrella tables (for lack of the correct word). The Wi-Fi signal is strong enough to run a low-band Skype connection from there.
Speaking of Wi-Fi: no, it isn't a very strong connection throughout the park. The best time is pre-6am and post-10pm. Again, the patio has a strong connection throughout the day.
Electric and sewer were updated during our first visit here (a year-and-a-half ago). We've never lacked in either. There are cable tie-ins as well, but we do not use it and cannot vouch for its service either way.
Dogs are to be on a leash, and owners are to pick up after them. There are designated dog "stations", but it is understood that dogs are going to "go" where they will, but most everyone is good about cleaning up.
The park is gated and requires a passcode to raise the gate. People can walk around this, but vehicles must go through. I had heard through the grapevine (another camper who talked to another camper, who talked to... situation) that the reason recycle bins were not available was due to problems with vagrants coming through the park to raid them (CA has a cash refund on cans/bottles). Easy enough, there is a recycle center (bottles, cans) about 1/2 mile down the road as you drive toward the beach.
All-in-all, it is a great park, and we...

I booked this location because it was an rv resort meaning it has the amenities of cable, wifi, laundry room, pool, playground, etc. Knowing that I could only check emails with their broadband service. From the moment we checked in we were unable to connect throughout the night and the next morning. I went to speak to the office and all she could say was that "we have a small broadband only enough to check emails." As I was signing into their wifi is accused me of downloading. Once the screen was up I showed her the "connect" button doesn't even light up to sign in. (See picture) She then proceeded to say that when the park is full it takes up alot of their broadband and that someone on the grounds must be downloading. Mind you they make you sign a wifi waiver stating that you cannot download or do anything illegal while connected to their wifi and the park was almost half way full. She just had an excuse for everything. We had 3 friends and family on different camp site and not one of them were able to connect out of the 4 days we stayed here.
I booked this campground before May for our stay in late August. I called in June or July to see if they knew anything about the OHV area being closed down. The lady said no she hasn't heard of anything, so I proceeded to ask if she knew my campground number. She said no that they do not assign campgrounds until a week prior to the date.
We had friends book maybe 2 weeks prior to the date and asked to be placed near us. Long story short 2 of our group members were on the other side of the campground. Their was open spaces near us we asked if they could be moved and they said the Park was full, but their was one spot that would be available but it's not much closer to were they wanted to be at. The last 2 days we were their the 2 campground near us that we asked if they could move 2 were STILL VACANT.
Overall I would not come back. Pros: Clean bathrooms and showers Ok size campground with grass and shade Clean pool area
Cons 55+ campground No wifi No heated pool OHV friendly 31ft toyhauler +F250 barley fits in campground-it was very uncomfortable to load and unload. They turn on sprinklers on one night without notice and everything on the...
Read moreThis resort allows people to be people. No matter your race, gender, age or other negative things going on in The world, Everyone comes together in this Resort to have a good time. There was an individual (couple) in site 69 asking everyone to be quiet by 4:00 pm on Independence Day due to the fact they would be leaving the next day. They specifically came to our location. Yes we had soft music playing, and yes the kids throughout the park was doing a popular line dance at our site, and so was There PARENTS. We really enjoy watching KIDS BE KIDS and the Resort allows just that. The fact the kids wanted to dance, play, ride bikes should not be a basis for a Bad review. The fact that SEVERAL other campers were playing a variety of music to their liking without profanity or ANY inappropriate words should not be judged. I personally offered the individual in site 69 money to relocate to an area in California that would be quiet on the Fourth of July at 4:00 pm, to no avail. In Fact she and her Husband came over to our site (13) and stood there next to our Food Shade Tent and conversed with us for almost an hour about how much fun everyone looked to be having, while being more interested in “how can we afford a truck and RV like the ones we have”. Well I guess you can only have fun if they Approve. The park is STRICT on the noise rules and The Manager Christine makes it clear enough upon check in, and general emails sent to EVERYONE. The line dance was enjoyed by all. Apologies to the couple in site 69 for the Folks in the neighborhood shooting fireworks til 3:00 am in the morning and keeping you awake as music in the park was not the issue. As far at the park goes, This is one of very FEW that in the past several years of camping here, we have only seen PROFESSIONALISM from the Staff, Wonderful neighbors many that have become friends, and therefore their kids are Our kids regardless of skin color everyone looks out...
