This is my favorite taco place in the Central Coast! I've went several times in the past 6 months and every time I was given something delicious.
According to the nice woman who owns the place (Lucy?), this is a husband and wife run buisiness. She owns the one in Oceano, and he manages the one in Grover. While I prefer the Grover locations' al pastor and increased menu variety, this location is my favorite when I want the basics!
Service has always been great, despite my gringo spanish! You can tell the woman who owns the place truly loves it and puts her soul into it. In her words, she tries to make it "a little bit of Mexico, right here".
For that reason, the atmosphere is endearing and relaxed. The dining room set up is bare bones, but you don't need much more when you're surrounded by the market and can get whatever you need!

Within the past months that I've eaten there, the quality of food seemed to go down as the prices went up. It gets so busy in there now that the cook is in a hurry & doesn't seem to take as much time and care with the food as she did before. The older man who works the register in the front of the store has always been rude & over charged us on multiple occasions.
