A Beach Breeze Inn — Hotel in Harwich

I took away one star from the room, I actually would only like to take away half a star I think it just needed some minor updates. The room itself though was very cute, I love the decor was very welcoming, the bedding is super nice. I would 100% you staying here over a brand name hotel any day. The staff was incredible you couldn't ask for a nicer hostess. Although they do not officially offer a breakfast there is an assortment of pastries available at any time of the day, and they have a really good selection of teas. Coffee is also available. The pool is very clean and well kept. This place is next to a lot of really cool places to visit and an incredibly nice Beach. We had such a good time thanks to the recommendation of our innkeeper/hostess I really don't know what to call her I wish I had her name available to me right now. The reason why I took away half a star for the room, is because we had found out after we had gotten there that all four of the rooms we had booked as a party of 11 had one water heater and it decided to mess up during our visit. Our hostess was very quick acting and had offered to have it fixed that night but it was kind of late and we were all able to get our showers. They were fully booked, so she couldn't switch our rooms which again was okay. This really ended up being a non-issue. Some background on me and some of my party members we have worked in the hotel industry before and we do not take these recommendations lightly, especially since we travel with children. But we all agreed that we would definitely stay there again if we ever have the opportunity to come back. That's a big deal. I also want to mention that despite all the inflation going on around during the season this place was very well priced, also I forgot to mention this is very close to a incredible Beach and our hostess was just full of local information that was really useful in getting us around and finding these places that we probably would have missed. My husband and I have been coming to the Cape since we were children . Once we married we summered here with our children and then grandchildren . We have stayed in houses , condos , hotels and Bed and Breakfasts. Beach Breeze is by far the BEST place we have ever stayed ! The room wAs spacious , fresh , airy , immaculate and well appointed . It also was very quiet and private . The bed was extremely comfortable , too . It is very Olde Cape Cod - quaint and beachy - but missing nothing in the modern amenities . I told my husband I wanted to go to the Cape and FEEL like I was on the Cape. The landscaping and pool are beautiful and each room looks out over the lovely flowering baskets and the pool . Everything is on one level which is very important with small children or older people . Parking is right out side your door . And a wonderful beach is a short walk or drive away . Everything is convenient ! In addition the staff are caring and this inn is owned by a family that takes great pride in their property and making their guests feel like family. Nice quiet Motel with Ref in room and microwave. Both came in handy for our week stay. Pool quiet and clean. Location made it quick trip to both Hyannis and to Chatham, and Harwich is a nice small town with some great restaurants and shops. Beds comfy, bathroom clean and tidy plenty of towels. A/C worked well and a ceiling fan. Coffee /Juice and muffins in the office for Breakfast if you do not want to venture out. The owners are on premise, and friendly willing to give suggestions on places and restaurants. Beach is walking distance, or drive do a drop off of your party and park back at motel. Keep in mind as you consider accomodations you have tons of options on Cape Cod, some at a lower price, some higher with more amenities or resort type features. For myself and wife, a clean room, friendly staff, and a pool to dip our toes this accomodations fits the bill. We enjoyed our stay and plan on doing it again without a high price tag associated for accomodations. If you want the Ritz this is not it, go pay for the Ritz.
