Let me start by saying that I am a very understanding individual and that if you look at all of my reviews they are typically 5 star. I was deeply disappointed in our families stay this weekend. To start, this room was over $200 a night, so it wasn't some $50 motel. If you decide to stay at this hotel, DO NOT stay in room 133. I repeat, DO NOT book this room (133). I included pictures to back up my claims. This room is completely surrounded by noise and maintenance! Directly across from the room is laundry and you will hear it!!! The washers and dryers will be running and they leave the door open. They also line the hallway with their service carts, so you deal with that every time you enter or exit the room. To the left of the room is a public bathroom and to the right of the room is a water heater. Again, you will hear them all night! Directly outside your window are 6 big air conditioning units that also kick on and off constantly! They are very loud. The swimming pool is very nice for the kids but it is very cold. They offer a continental breakfast, but make sure you check everything! Most food had expired dates, from the yogurt to the creamer. They were not a day or two out of date either, they were literally weeks expired!!!! I also watched an employee remove a sausage from the breakfast area with his bare hands and eat it. When I was showering, the shampoo container was completely empty and the body wash pump was broken. The only bottle that worked was the conditioner. I can honestly say that the hotel should not book room 133, or if they do, it should be deeply discounted and the customer made aware of the issues. PS- the headboard in room 133 either needs to be spray painted again or replaced as the paint is peeling.

The rooms are disgusting. 90s era with flaking, pealing headboards and caked dust along the baseboards like the vacuum attachment doesn't exist. Remotes are bagged but the caked grime between buttons suggests that it's for your protection, not reassurance. The odd, bold warning sign in the elevator about excessive noise is a fascade - not only is it not enforced but it suggests that the people yelling down the halls late at night was more than a fluke. This facility is unequipped to meet the legal and reasonable requirements of elevator access for their patrons. The attached sign was posted on all 3 floors suggesting that patrons use the stairs to offset their own inability to abide by more than minimum regulations.

We are a group of 4 lifelong friends who were traveling for a fun weekend. Our room was clean, beds were comfy (although the pillows were too soft, even the firm ones), and we felt safe throughout the property. (I was up early in the morning and went for a solo walk around the outside of the building - loved hearing the birds and no worries about my safety.) It would have been nice to have the bathroom facilities in separate areas - the tub and toilet in one room, with the sink and counter in the bedroom area - would've saved us time in the mornings if we could've shared the space more. Room temp was either too cold or too hot - thermostat worked, but at a steady 74 degrees in that small space, we either froze or roasted. Keurig in the room - but no coffee? Only really bad tea. Breakfast options were OK - typical hotel offerings, except the pancake maker was out of order. Scrambled eggs were actually pretty good, as were "white" eggs and various meat options. But again with the bad tea? 2 green teas and one black - and this black tea was horrible. Great room was "great" - we enjoyed spending our evenings there, playing games or talking. When other groups came in, there was plenty of space for all of us to have our separate areas without getting in each other's way. We didn't swim, but I did spend time in the pool area relaxing - plenty of tables and...

I have to say hands down, this is the best Holiday Inn Express my family and I have stayed in so far. First, the gentleman at the front desk the night we checked in was extremely pleasant. I wish I could remember his name but we were so tired when we got there I didn't catch his name. Check in was so efficient. The two rooms we had reserved were the cleanest I have seen. My fiance has to practically live out of hotels on a weekly basis for work. Because of this, he is extremely picky. I am also very judgmental when it comes to sleeping in a room and bathing where other people have been on a daily basis. But this room was so clean we could have been the first people to use it. Breakfast was kind of a crazy scene. The hotel was full and when we went down to eat there were multiple school sports teams having breakfast at the same time. Even with all the kids there turning the room in to chaos, The breakfast hosts did a wonderful job keeping things stocked and the room clean. We were not able to enjoy the pool very much but the little bit of use we did get out of it was just as good as the rest. The pool and room were clean, the towels were stocked, and the water was surprisingly warmer than expected. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area. And a big thank you to the manager and staff for being a part of making our holiday weekend...
