Petro Stopping Center — Local services in Henderson

This place is only 8 months old. They're still working bugs out. No laundry is available at this time 1.17.25 10 am. Their waiting on connection or something, so I'm told. Food and staff are super decent. They have a decent amount of trucker supplies if you will. The shower itself is small, and the water pressure is good. It's hard to shave your legs but can be done. lol The shower room it's self is a decent size. Vary dark and not well lit. NO DROPPED TRAILERS I'M TOLD. They told me that someone abandoned a chicken trailer and since they don't allow dropped trailers. They have signs that say no dropped trailers towed at the owners expense. They say, " they have security that makes notification. "... we've been here almost 24 hours and haven't seen security, so who knows. I'd say this a very decent rest break stop. It's a little annoying to do a 34 and not have laundry or be able to drop your tailer and stock up your truck at the local grocery stop. These things add to the quality of life for truckers out here...

Great new truckstop! The people are amazing! Plenty of parking spots (only a few are reserved spots) 13 miles from vegas. I would not recommend the truckwash. I tried it figuring it was new but it was the worst wash I've gotten in 35 years. They use automatic brushes on the trailer wich is fine but nothing touches the back doors of the trailer. The truck is washed by employees and they did a horrific job. Missed more spots than they hit I believe. Had to go into the beacon in town and have them rewash the whole thing. Lesson learned. But other than truckswash, great...

This is the newest Truck Stop @ Railroad Springs, across the Freeway. Once entered, we were greeted with a, "Welcome to Petro." They have all the treats and snacks for the journey ahead. Drinks of all types, soda to water to cooffe and tea. If you need motor oil or washer fluid, they have it. Even for Truckers, they have a little bit of everything, for everyone.
