First, shoutout to Bill from Maintenance. He was fantastic and very helpful when the water heater was not working. I was one of the people that had their reservation canceled Labor Day weekend a week before my check in. I do want to mention that when I spoke with staff there, I had gotten conflicting information about booking. I had 2 staff tell me NOT to use third party booking and book direct- to me implying that I was targeted because I booked third party. When later speaking with the manager, Joy, she had told me that it was not because of my third party booking and that it was due to maintenance issues that the building was having. The truth seems to be that it was overbooked because they were booking rooms that they knew were not complete, so when it became a week out, they canceled several reservations. My issue is with the lying, gas lighting, and bizarre behavior I got from the staff when asking about the number to corporate. I was told by all 3 staff members that I could talk to corporate. However, when I went to the site where they told me to find corporates number, it was nowhere to be found on the website. So, when I talked to the manager Joy, I asked her for the number, and she said she did not have it. I told her it was not on the site where they kept directing me.. and I never got an answer from the number to corporate that I had to find on my own by searching. I called corporate several times and left voicemails every time. It's really unfortunate because the property itself is conveniently located and our room was beautiful and spacious. We did end up getting a reservation back by reserving a room on their site that became available randomly and I was able to get support through email to Placemakr. I also asked the email support person for the number to corporate and that was never addressed other than them giving me the number to Huntsville location. Not corporate. The first day I was able to call and get ahold of someone, the other days I was getting no answer and sent straight to a mailbox that was full so I could not leave any message. Shady practices. The room itself was beautiful and spacious. You could tell things weren't fully completed. Some of the furniture already had damage. The oven wasn't cleaned for use. The sound within apartments isn't very contained but since we only had a few neighbors, it wasn't too bad. Overall, a very comfortable stay. The shower was nice and the bed & couch comfortable. Not much privacy with the large windows due to thin shades. Really nice big fridge with ice/ water dispenser and large sink with soap and sponge. Dishwasher easy to use. There are dishes, silverware and pots & pans. If you are cooking, don't forget foil/parchment or cooking essentials like oil, spices, and...
Read moreI’m a traveling health professional and chose this property after touring it about a month before my scheduled move-in date. During the tour, I was shown multiple clean, well-finished units and made clear that I needed a layout conducive to sleeping during the day, as I work graveyard shifts. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, and I was told the unit I would be assigned would match what I was shown. Based on this, I committed to stay here. Unfortunately, the experience since then has been the complete opposite of what was promised.||Upon move-in, I was placed in a unit I had never seen. In fact, we hadn’t even toured that side of the complex. The hallways had exposed, unfinished concrete, and the unit itself had raw concrete floors and ceilings—not in a stylish or intentional design sense, but in an incomplete, industrial way. When I raised my concerns, I was told this was “intentional,” but nothing about it appeared artfully or tastefully done. The bottom line is: this is not what I was shown or promised.||To make matters worse, I was moved between three different rooms on Saturday, trying to find one that was even remotely “finished.” I typically move in two days early to settle and clean, but I spent my entire weekend just trying to find a suitable space. Once I thought I was finally settled, I learned that the AC wasn’t working. This led to yet another move on Sunday morning.||Weekend management acknowledged the chaos and offered a discount as a gesture of goodwill. However, by Monday, weekday management rescinded the offer completely—with no regard for the inconvenience I had endured.||And just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, I returned from work Monday to find that the WiFi was down.||This entire experience has been a nightmare. Either the staff are knowingly dishonest or are operating in complete disorganization—either way, it’s at the customer’s expense. I do not respect a company that markets one product, then delivers something entirely different once you’re locked in. It feels like they’re just trying to capitalize on every inch of unfinished space, regardless of what they’ve promised.||If you’re a traveling professional or someone who values transparency, comfort, and...
Read moreThe room was missing a lot of items like vent covers, cups for the bathroom, TV in the bedroom, desk in the living room, do not disturb sign, no hot water at bathroom sink, etc etc. The elevator code would not work. Zero amenities were open. Very poor craftsmanship for this new building. I don't understand how they got their certificate of occupancy, the place is still being built!! Very poor experience. This is not 4 star hotel. The 2 star LaQuinta Inn down the street is 25% of the price and is far better equipped. The one staff i saw the entire time was friendly but my stay was hindered by just sitting there waiting for an elevator code for 15 minutes which was super awkward and they still couldnt get it figured out. It would take them 4 hours to get a working code but by that time we were all going to bed and wouldn't need it. I left the cleaning crew a nice tip even tho there wasn't anything there to clean. It's not their fault this place is incomplete. As a matter of fact, they are one of the only things that worked at all. Giant cracks in the mortor of the tiles, paper thin walls, light leaks all around the front door, missing room items, poor craftsmanship, zero amenities.. YEAH,...
