I've been taking the kids here off & on a few years & it's never been as bad as it was tonight .. straight rude employees some even making rude sounds and growling whiny noises when ask to do something like the bumper cars , laser tag, zip line basically anything that had to do with helping they were not willing to do it without attitude and acting as if they were being bothered , I bought a platinum membership because how good this place "USED" to be .. I will not ever again! The zip line kid even yelled at my child and her friend telling her " come on bro! 'Rudely ,because she was standing talking instead coming immediately to them to get the harness off ..didn't allow them to go into the balance beam area as usual has every visit at 745 we went to get the kids their pizza , popcorn , as well as slushy and ice cream bead ( which they only had one kind sup )and extremely expensive spent 45 on 4 dip and dots and 4 slushies, girl was to busy being rude and cleaning way ahead to even remember to get the kids popcorn and pizza ..waited till 8:00 and finally went and told them .. pizza was straight up nasty and old been sitting it seemed for hours wasn't fresh at all .. the girls went to play before we got ready to leave and I took my grandson to play games before we left ..left the slushy and stuff sitting at our table for not even 5 mins and the staff in the kitchen and around the place went and got all 4 of their drinks and popcorn and threw them away (whole slushies ) few drinks taken out of it ..and was still at least 45 mins till closing .. some even standing around staring at the ones still in there like hurry up and leave already .. imo they were maybe two of those employees that were nice and kind and done their jobs ..the younger girl up front checking you in was as sweet as could be helpful and was bout the only one u could go to and get any of the games or attractions to be let into to ride or play .. she deserves a raise that young lady is doing the job of many while all those many are sitting around and being rude to people when they have to work ( including young children ) walk climbing guy wasn't to bad he was professional and nice to the kids .. but other than them two ..whomever owns this establishment ..please get new employees if they can't act better than that not even 2 hours after opening and don't want to be there or do their job that badly u need better employees or this place will end up shut down ! Promise y'all your losing profit just in the rudeness and attitude of those employees .. some of the games took extra points off the card also .. If I hadn't spent so much on the membership for my two and two of their friends I would find another spot to take them .because this attitude & poor work ethic as well as non working most of everything that was actually good to play was shut down or said ask employee and them be smart and either finally take the kids to do it or straight tell them no as one said "Because they said so don't ask again" also tables & bathrooms were...
Read moreI spent almost six hours at Urban Air last weekend with my son. During that time, I interacted with 4 staff members. The interactions were as such: First employee...overcharged me by almost $20 for entry by failing to give me the "Parent Pass" discount that is prominently offered on the website and at the check-in counter. I'm a larger, middle-aged man who checked in with a 10 year old. Perhaps she thought I was his brother? I'm sure no one has made that mistake in the previous decade. Second interaction...successful attempt to recoup my overcharge. I'm lucky I checked my receipt. Third interaction...with the employee helping people put on safety harnesses for their (flimsy-looking) zip line. "Is there a weight limit on this zipline?" Errr....I'm not sure. Maybe 250 lbs?". Wouldn't the weight limit be kind of important to know, for the person loading the zip line? After this conversation, I decided not to risk a potential 15 foot fall from the zip line onto a concrete floor. Fourth and final interaction with a team member: "Are we allowed to leave and come back later today?" "Ummm...I'm not really sure". Isn't this the most basic of basic info? Bottom line, the employees clearly have little to no training, and there does not seem to be any culture around safety practices or enforcement of basic rules. Unlike the "Let's" play place we usually go, there is absolutely nothing to stop someone from leaving with a child who does not belong to them. No process or verification at all. Also, I saw people doing clearly sketchy and dangerous things without consequence. In some cases, very large older kids were jumping and falling...around small children and even infants. I thought that would be corrected, but it wasn't. On one trampoline, two teenage couples simply laid down and started giving each other a cuddle, with hands roaming and legs intertwined. I thought surely this would bring rebuke from the carrier of the whistle, but no, apparently using the trampoline as a motel bed in front of small children is perfectly acceptable. Finally, I think the place is clearly overpriced for what's on offer. You can have a day of play at a similar facility almost across the street for $18, with a free adult admission included. Or you can pay $31+ $15.50 for a single child and single parent, plus $8 for socks ($55ish) for a very similar experience at Urban Air. To be honest, the kids enjoyed their play date, but I think I'll look elsewhere next time. For the people paying many hundreds of dollars to eat cake and subpar pizza here at a birthday party, I can only...
Read moreToday. Is the 3rd time I have brought my grandchildren for their birthdays. The previous 2 times, April and Nov last year, it was amazing. I even stopped the mgr bc they were awesome with my child with autism. I even suggested that they might want to use a colored dot/sticker to alert workers in the event of language challenged kids (hearing, speech, autism, etc). Today, was a different story. We came as usual. I set up a table for us. I spent 45 minutes setting up. I did bring in outside stuff, but bc of dietary restrictions- diabetes and surgical limitations (veggies, fruit, cheese and crackers). Absolutely nothing that is currently offered at the concession, like say Poppa Johns or Little Ceasars. Our precious 2 trips, was not an issue. As a matter of fact, I spent more than $100 on other stuff for the kids at the concessions. I even offered the security guy a plate. Anyway, employees walked by the entire time...no one says anything. My grandchild comes to eat, and the mgr (female red hair arm tattoo) with someone else comes up and says no outside food except the cake. I explain the dietary issue and that there is nothing at the concessions for us to order. She just said it had to go. She then she proceeded stand over us unnecessarily as we packed it up. I might not have been upset had anyone said one thing as we set up, but no...just once a kid sat down. Then the piece da resistance, I am looking at a daylight doughnut box in the play area on an employee cart next to the duck splash. I should include the photo just for shits and giggles. If no outside foods are drinks are allowed, how about offering something other than a pizza that had me sick for 2 days previously(I tried it on the visit I spent a fortune at the concession stand). The ONLY highlight WAS a young lady at the concessions. My autistic daughter asked her for an icee, and she paid for it. The minute I caught it, I immediately went and paid her for it. Yet another great employee with...
