We recently had the pleasure of staying at Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground, and we must say, it exceeded our expectations in every way. Nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Jackson Hole with views of the mountains, this campground offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the standout features of Fireside Resort is the remarkable tranquility it provides. In our experience, it's rare to find a campground that offers such a peaceful ambiance. The carefully designed layout of the sites and the respectful atmosphere among campers made for an incredibly serene environment. Whether we were enjoying a morning cup of coffee or stargazing at night, the peacefulness of the campground enhanced our overall experience. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and showers deserves special mention. The facilities were immaculately maintained throughout our stay. The bathrooms were always well-stocked with essentials, and the showers were consistently clean. It was evident that the staff took great pride in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of their guests. Another aspect that stood out was the availability of full hook-up sites. This added convenience made camping at Fireside Resort a breeze. The accessibility to water, electricity, and sewer connections made it easy for us to settle in and enjoy all the amenities of modern living while still immersing ourselves in the beauty of nature. Beyond the physical amenities, the staff at Fireside Resort were friendly, helpful, and genuinely passionate about creating a remarkable camping experience for their guests. They were always available to answer any questions, provide recommendations for local activities and attractions, and offer a warm welcome to everyone who arrived. They were gracious enough to let us borrow a coax cable for the cable connection and move things around on their schedule to allow us to extend one night on our stay. In terms of location, Fireside Resort is ideally situated for exploring the natural wonders of Jackson Hole. From hiking trails and wildlife viewing opportunities to scenic drives and outdoor adventures, there was no shortage of activities to partake in. Additionally, the nearby town of Jackson offered a charming atmosphere, with its unique shops, delicious dining options, and vibrant cultural scene. We would be remiss to not mention Calico Restaurant which is righ next door which is now one of our favorite restaurants. In conclusion, Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground provided us with a memorable and highly enjoyable camping experience. Its serene and tranquil setting, combined with the cleanliness of the facilities and availability of full hook-up sites, exceeded our expectations. If you're seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature, look no further than Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground.

Jackson Hole Campground is better known as Fireside Resort. This review is heavily weighted in the fact that the resort charges excessive prices for a very average park, in excess of $100 for even the smallest space. The sites are gravel with some grass and a picnic table (see photo), adequate in size. Our pull- through site (standard) came with decent WIFI, cable, 50/30 amp service, water & sewer. Some are more level than others. since had firepits that were dug in the ground. Bathrooms are small and dated, but clean. 2 showers in men's. staff was friendly and helpful. Explained high prices by saying Jackson Hole is the place where millionaires & billionaires come to live and play. (note: we're started at a similar park near Ketchum/ Sun Valley that was less than half the cost). This left a really bad taste in our mouths for Jackson Hole... we didn't want to go spend any more money (and didn't) in this area. This RV park has narrow ingress and egress, 2 RVs or even a car and an RV cannot pass one another. this les to a delay in the way out. VERY IMPORTANT... although the park is on the road to the main gate of Grand Tetons National Park the park does NOT allow RVs to enter. The entrance to the park is 7 miles away, 1 mile past Teton Village, at jackson Hole ski resort. The park is over 7 miles from the town of Jackson. There is a very well maintained bike path outside the park that leads to Teton Village and Grand Teton NP. The chinese path also goes the other way in to the town of Jackson. The 2 star rating is higher than I would have given due to the price gouging but it is in close proximity to Grand Tetons & Yellowstone National Parks. There are not many choices for RVers... and they know it and price accordingly. Too bad... Main reason we only stayed one night.

In fairness, we should have been prepared after having read all the reviews, but... If this place would have charged $40 or even $50 a night, then you wouldn't simply see all the negatives, but they charged $125 (this included taxes) a night! The park did have some large trees - not that we were parked under them, but some folks had shade. Some spots, very few, but some, had large spaces with a fair amount of "space" around them - MOST did not! There were some units so close together we saw one rig that couldn't have their awning out! It looked to me like there were water reducers on all the water spigots, so I was UN sure if I needed my usual water reducer. I walked up to the office and asked them - the gal behind the counter thought about it, said "hmmm, I'm not sure, but I don't think so". She never offered to ask anyone as I guess that was too much trouble? The park was very close to a shuttle bus stop which was handy for going to Jackson or Jackson Hole. The park was clean, dog clean up bags located all through the park, but it was absolutely hands down the worst value of any park we stayed in on our 11 day trip. We stayed at a BEAUTIFUL RV park minutes outside Yellowstone (West Yellowstone RV park) that with tax, was $74 which we would normally think was expensive, but it was manicured to perfection and we left there knowing we'd be back someday. Again, for the money, this place just flat is NOT worth it - if you have money to burn, don't care about how close you are to someone, don't care that you can't put a mat on the ground at your RV entrance (They say it will ruin the grass - look at the picture - too late for that!) then go ahead and give it a try.

Stayed for 7 nights through some VERY cold weather. Facilities imo are very good. There were plenty of bathrooms (toilet & shower in one room) and they look to be brand new. They were very clean for the first 4 days then they could use a cleaning. But people are gross - how hard is it to take a paper towel and so a quick wipe around the sink for the next person? Or if you mess the toilet, clean it. And why are you doing dishes in the bathroom sink??! Sheesh!||There are 4 large capacity washers and driers. Although a little pricey, they worked far better than other campgrounds we’ve stayed at. And they are clean. There’s also double sink where you can do your dishes. Again, did a quick wipe when I was done - for the next person. ||They have recycling bins a d able garbage bins as well. And a hot tub! Which we used and enjoyed. Met many likeminded friendly people there. And a well stocked store in case you forgot something.||Nice and close to the ski resort and to town, which is so fun. And the bus system is very good. You catch it at the restaurant next store. One recommendation would be to plow the strip to the restaurant. It’s a bit precarious carrying skies along that road, although 2 minutes max. ||Staff was super nice and responsive. We got a ton of snow - everything was plowed out in a timely manner. ||Cost was US$76/night approx. again, we felt that was reasonable for the facilities and hydro. And it’s really pretty. ||We will definitely be back!||Why not 5 stars? We felt this was a 4+ stay. For 5: garbages in rest room emptied in between cleaning, a path to the restaurant/bus stop next store and maybe a little wider plowing to move around. Although that might be because if the amount of snow. ||P.S. The cabins look adorable! I’m trying to figure an excuse to...
