Travelers Motel — Hotel in Jackson

"Do not go here, this place is a living, breathing hazard to patron's health." - Arrived to stay somewhere for the night with hopes that a motel so close to the highway had some standard, ended up leaving ~hour later after not being able to handle the conditions. Disgusting carpeting, location had no security (locks were completely removed except scanner lock, no deadbolts), window had a crack/hole in it next to the door, location settled in a d-traffik area, all layered bedsheets had bug holes chewed through, and visual confirmation of bed bugs as I attempted to sleep. Seeing prior reviews talking about awful management not addressing issues, I made the decision to just leave without a word after returning my room card in the location they told me to return it - in an unsecure location directly outside the office where anyone could take it and enter the room. Decided that I felt safer and more comfortable sleeping in my car at a rest stop for $0 instead of that motel for $81, so I did. I had a great night's sleep knowing I was not...

Settled in here for a calmer option than other motels around Jackson, not exactly a Hilton, but good management and decent prices. Secluded parking, well lit area.
