Getting to Jacksonville later in the evening caused the worst experience I've had so far in the city. I made the reservation online exhausted from driving for so long and the hotel I typically stay at was full. So I get to this hotel and check in and I am given a room upstairs that faces the street. I was told by the onsite security man who seemed friendly enough but very clearly liked to watch the women as they walked by. I ended up having to park my car around the side because the only way to get to the second floor is to go around to the back to access the steps that get you there. I get you the room I was given or walk in and you can't find a light anywhere. That's because there's not one on the ceiling instead it's a smoke detector that has a modified baseball cap plastic washing machine protector covering the smoke detector. So I proceed to get the items I needed out of my car and bring them to the room I wish I had checked before doing that to make sure that the door would even lock and in this case the first room they gave me did not it would not fully engage but it wouldn't matter because there was no security or concrete or wood behind the faceplate and anybody could have just pushed it with their shoulder to get in. It also did not have the the latch that would be used instead of a chain. So having gone back downstairs to the office to get a different room he gave me two doors down which okay I can handle that that was of course the first thing I checked when I went to the door was to make sure that one the door would actually lock and fully engaged and that yes there was the latch at the top where the chain would normally be. But when walking into that door which was room 207 the guy next door who was smoking all the pot that's the first thing that just smelled when you open the door along with seeing the very big gash that was in the floor due to the screw from the door sweep that was very apparently broken. So having successfully move to the new room I turned on the air conditioner which not only was loud but you could smell the mold coming out of it when it was blowing the cold air out. Over the next oh 45 minutes or so I then proceeded to kill several flying insects of different types including mosquitoes along with the German cockroaches that were crawling across the floor. The only thing this room didn't have thank goodness was bed bugs. So after trying to calm down a bit I went down to the office and asked the attendant who wasn't even in the office when I got there if she by chance had some bug spray and her very first question was what type of bug was it would it have been and I don't remember the name of what she called it at which point I said yeah I don't know what that is and I've been killing bugs for about 30 minutes now I just need to know if you have some bug spray and she goes what room are you in and I tell her and she goes oh well you're a reservation online we don't do refunds and I'm like man last thing I'm worried about right this second is a refund I just want some bug spray because of all your bugs in your building that I've been killing for 30 minutes. She then proceeded to ignore me and deal with some servicemen who came in and dropped off a form with her. And though I do not have all the pictures that I took of the dirtiness the nasty floors the dead bugs of every kind The mold under the sink the rag that they were using to keep the leak from making the floor worse The duct taped shower head The absolute gross buildup of the faucet the rust and black mold of the ceiling in the bathroom and the absolutely grimy floor are pictures that were taken and submitted with the reservation company that I ended up using but they're not on this particular device of mine or I would submit them. So if you're a traveler my only suggestion is to never step foot on this property ever not only is it not up to board a health conditions it's not up to OSHA conditions and it is an overall horribly cared for and/or maintenance facility. DON'T...
Read moreThis place isn’t even suitable for prisoners. I found live crawling spiders in my bed, German cockroaches in the bathroom, all, but one electrical outlet worked in the TV had no cable, fuzzy, and you couldn’t even hear anything. The blankets Have so many burn holes in them that you can’t even stay warm. Needless to say, I could not even get under underneath the sheet, the blanket, anything. It was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed. It’s like being in a prison cell. I booked two nights, could not even stay the second night because Of the disgusting disgusting insects that are invading this property that they have the nerve to rent out. Sign says no refunds, yet I’m gonna have to foot the bill for the doctor because of insect bites? The city of Jacksonville will be notified as well as the Better Business Bureau. All they had to do was give me my small, tiny little...
Read moreFarrah and Kourtney were managers when we arrived and because of their hospitality and kindness, made our transition easier and more tolerable. They were very knowledgeable about the business and approached any concerns in a timely manner. They made us feel like they truly cared about us. They were the 5 star rating. However, when a new crew was sent in to replace Farrah and Kourtney, the place turned into utter confusion. There was an awful language barrier, the two older men working the front desk were rude and impatient, and nothing I reported was done. I could go on but I don't have the time. In my opinion, the owners of Noble Suites were not very noble in making such a horrible decision to push out Farrah and Kourtney who was running their motel with precision. You should be ashamed of yourselves! You deserve whatever this horrible decision brings. For this, a 1...
