This is a drive-thru review. I'm new to Florida and where I'm from we didn't have Checkers burgers so I thought I should give them a try. There was one close to my job site and since I was in a bit of a rush I decided to use the drive thru. The line wasn't very long, but it moved pretty slowly - normally I don't mind that because it could be that things are made fresh, which I like. I got up to the order board and heard the friendly voice telling me to order when I was ready, so I told the 'girl' what I wanted. When she repeated it all back with most of it wrong, I realized that I wasn't actually speaking with a person - it's some sort of answer bot. OMG I hate talking to computers! It took the bot several tries to get my order correct, but finally I was able to creep along past the order board and closer to the window. Each car in front of me was taking about 5 minutes, so 10 minutes later I get to the window. The man there says nothing to me except my total. I give him my card and he runs it and hands it back with a receipt, still silent. While I'm waiting for my food, I look in the window and think the place really needs a sweep and a wipe down. It's not that busy, so why is the place this dirty? I finally get my food - handed to me by the big, silent guy, who says nothing...and I drive out. The sandwiches were ok - not hot, but at least they looked okay and only a little squished. The fries were warm and crispy. The drink...well, it's a soda, so not much to say. In other words, about what I would expect for fast food My score is a 2. Food ok but not great Terrible auto responder taking orders instead of a real person Slow line Maybe you guys should hire some people with customer service skills and that can at least crack a smile of they can't talk. Read moreLast night was the worst experience I've seen or be involved in, please review security tapes to verify. Around 1 am, i ordered from the drive through and was asked to pull around to the other drive through window. After 10 minutes one of the employees drove from the other side of the lane so our vehicles were nose to nose. Tall slender man mid 20's an employee got out and kept staring at me, did not talk to me. Left his headlights on, and went inside. About 5 minutes later he came out cursing and yelling at me. Nobody has said anything to me, that lunatic continued to escalate the situation and was getting closer to my truck. I did tell him I was told to wait their for my food, that made him irate. I did back out and he continued his verbal assault. What if I followed protocol, Stand My Ground. Just another conflict of a white man/ black man for the news. I'm not going to support any action that would let others use this for their own agenda. I am asking for the management at this location to review the security tapes, it will validate my statement. I will never see him again so my involvement is over, your's is just starting. Thirty-three years in management for one company, I've worked with thousands of people, received training to understand people and recognize warning signs and he has big issues. I've given many people like him chances to improve their behavior. For him to be that irate at a customer who did not talk to him is unacceptable, maybe you can get him some help. Regardless, he was wearing a shirt that represents your business. I had my back window shattered, so I removed my weapons. I keep thinking of what I would have done if they were not removed. Miss Patricia B said what do you mean you want a Sprite ! I asked you did you want two and you said no I want one... Them I said ma'am what I said was I have a coupon for Two (2) Big Buford's Combos one with a Tea and no ice and a Sprite she lol ok then I proceeded with my second order I ordered a chicken bite box with a six piece mozzarella cheese stick and I have a coupon for a free 4 piece mozzarella cheese stick Miss Patricia said pull around . So when my husband and I got to the window he asked how much is the first order miss Patricia them stated rudely that she didn't know how much it is that she'll have to give me the coupon first.. which is right. He gave her the coupon and she gave us the total my husband paid for our orders and we asked for Mayo this lady looked and said we don't have No mayo and shut her window plus she gave us a come instead of the Sprite I asked for.... I've been in the restaurant business for over 25 years and me as a manager I would never have her too deal with my customer's Never !
