Worst place ever !! Very poor customer service very poorly ran. No manager everyone trying to play manager. My first room was filthy hadn't been properly cleaned Not CDC guidelines. The first room they had us in the shower floor was dirty the lady came in there with some what smelled like was some type of air freshener in a spray bottle a small rag sprayed what appeared to look like dirty feet smudges put the rag on the floor and cleaned the spots with her foot on the rag. No mop no disinfectant spray no nothing. The bug some were alive some were dead. They switched us to a different suite and this is what this one looked liked. Asked for corporate number everyone want to talk around it. They over charged me and constantly pulled amounts off my card that I was not aware about and once I brought it to their attention and they realized they in fact did over charge me she tried to get smart once I told her she didn't have to be smart and calm down she became irate told me I would have to leave for the day once I told her no I'm not going anywhere this lady took off her mask and got in my face telling me we had to leave threatening me and her coworker comes to grab her and everyone goes in the back trying to get their story straight and a so call manager whoever he was wasn't concerned with helping us or even going into the system to check out what's going on considering he hasn't been there the whole time of our stay. Hes going off the emplyees not even trying to do his own resheach but hes a manager yea okay. I used to run a hotel and a nursing home thats no type of customer service nor management . The hotel is filthy the stain in the hallway been there since last Saturday when we checked in .I'm sure its still there. We left because we we're disgusted at how they handled us during our whole stay. And the amout of disrespect. My husband called Hilton and someone claimed they put in a claim and would get back to us within 24-48 hours again that's a joke because its been past that and still no email or phone call. We currently have a claim with our bank to dispute the extra charges. My normal stay was supposed to be 1437.45 upon leaving my total was 1950.00 absolutely insane!!

Not a terrible hotel, but far below my experience at other Marriott hotels. Customer service: Poor. I entered the hotel to check in, and greeted the lady at the front desk. Without even looking at me she just said, "ID?". I handed it to her and she starts clicking on her keyboard. After a minute, she looks up and reads me a script, "Thank you for being a platinum bonvoy member...", but after that loses interest again. Very rude. Most others at the front desk are very rude and unwelcoming, except the gentleman working the desk in the morning. The manager is actually very nice and helpful, why can't her employees do that? Other (non front desk) staff are actually pretty nice if you get a chance to interact with them. Room: Nice. Spacious room with small kitchenette - sink, small counter, microwave, and fridge. Bed and pillows were comfortable. A/C works well. Not modern but decent bathroom. Amenities: Nice selection for breakfast - eggs, sausages, bacon, bagels, waffles, cereals, oatmeal (with many available toppings), and they even had non-dairy milk which I like. The exercise room is very small, broken equipment, NO water (why?) Guest laundry has one washer, one dryer. Coin operated, but if you don't catch the hotel manager before she leaves for the day, the front desk will not help with quarters. They'll tell you to drive around and ask for quarters at a local store. Housekeeping: The room was clean when I arrived, but housekeeping never touched my room again during my seven-day stay. After a few days I asked one of the housekeepers on my floor if they were going to service my room, and she looks at her clipboard and says, "Sorry, we were supposed to today, but didn't have time. We'll do it tomorrow." That same thing happened for the next three days. I had to stop them and ask for towels at least, every couple of days. If you can live with a rude, unhelpful staff, not a terrible place. But I think I'll look at other options next time I'm in Jacksonville.

I am writing about the Springhill suites Jacksonville Florida airport. By far one of the worst Marriott hotels I have ever stayed. (Titanium Marriott member...)Last night I stayed at the Marriott Springhill suites Brandon,Fl. Now that was what I expected from a Springhill suites by Marriott. Rooms at the Brandon location were clean, spacious and you were able to stream shows on a very large TV. The room in Brandon actually had a big TV in the main room and a small TV in the bedroom which is what you expect at Springhill suites.. The workout room at Springhill suites Brandon Florida was clean and all equipment worked and had TVs built into the equipment. Now I go to Springhill suites at the Jacksonville Florida airport. I assumed a Springhill Suites in Jacksonville, Fl would be similar to a Springhill Suites in Brandon Fl. NOT SO!!! The people working the front desk were nice and cordial. The problem is it seems the owners of this hotel have obviously not been willing to invest any money in this location to keep it current and up to the Marriott standard. The TV in the room is the smallest TV I've ever seen with no streaming feature. The TV and TV service are so old the channels do not match the channel guide on the TV. There is no streaming at all. The fitness center had two old treadmills and an exercise bike. One of the treadmills was broken and I understand that happens. All pieces of exercise equipment had been jerry-rigged with a TV attached to a pole behind the equipment. These TV's are cable tied and look like a high school student had done it. You can't operate the TV while on the equipment. I was in the the workout room with two other people and both were also complaining about this hotel. In fact one guy said he comes to Jacksonville a lot and plans to stay at the Hampton next door in the future. Being that the TV wasn't working on the exercise bike, I decided to spend the time writing this complaint. Marriott has such a great reputation. Get rid of this hotel. Rob Steers PS - - I tried to send this to Marriott customer service and there system would not accept. Gee...

Crap! I forgot how loud this place is at night. I forgot about the noise level at night. I can literally feel the base from the 2 bar/restaurants close by. No joke. You would think it’s a good location, but if you are not down for partying late you will not be happy.|We have stayed here before and I forgot that it was supposed to be on our “never again” list. Last time was around Christmas and currently it’s the end of July. Same issues. We are done!|The Sheraton (another Marriott property) up the road is actually a better option. We have stayed there as well. Don’t stay here if you don’t want to be rocked out!|The walkable location in the main plus. It really is a good location, but the loud bars are the issue! Beaches are real nice. Decent views (not “great” but good). Valet parking is a must. $28/night plus tips. Front desk “ok”.|Personally, not a fan of the room layout. We were in a suite (room 511) it’s the top floor south end. Last time we were in a little larger suite, but this was ok in size… enough for 2.|Some dislikes: The bathroom lack of privacy is the issue with frosted slider doors and the bathroom slider is 2 feet from the end of the bed. Acoustics not favorable. Balcony had enough room for ONE chair. That’s it!|Likes: Bed and pillows comfy.|Again… Sound and acoustics are the big issues. And they are BIG issues (again unless you are a major night owl).|We will not make the mistake of coming back here again though. Just be warned. Sitting here at night waiting for the booming base to end. Sadly sleep may not happen tonight.|Trip typeVacation · Couple|Rooms3.0Service3.0Location3.0|RoomsDo NOT get a room on the south end - especially the suites that end in 11 or 13 - soooooo loud! You feel the base late at night from the bar next door|Nearby activitiesOutdoor amphitheater and the beach|SafetyOk during the day. A bit iffy at night. You will definitely smell the weed outside and anywhere you walk close by. Keep your family and valuables close.|WalkabilityLots of close restaurants and...
