Waffle House — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Actually it's-5 rating, tonight's service was atrocious. The staff gets 2 stars only because they allowed me to charge my cell phone. It started poorly and went downhill from there. First, I just got a "hello ", then an unidentified person with a deep voice who later turned out to be a female said, sir whut choo won't, not want, and took my order. Felt a little testosterone tension for a minute, I respect diversity so I let it pass. Then a "stud" with saggy pants with paisley boxers came from the back to finish up my order. "It", the stud(no disrespect, I just didn't her gender preference) put my hash browns on the grill with some oil and walked away for at least 5 minutes to send a text message. I waited and waited for "it" to come back and flip/stir them or something. They were beyond crispy and golden brown, they were more like burnt "uhrrange, " not orange, uhrrange. Imagine sitting there as though I was being linked, I finally spoke up and said I can't eat those so a new order was made. If that wasn't bad enough, the nice girl who charged my phone, who was also washing dishes and the time, went to the grill with soap suds on her hands picked up my order and gave it to me. Ok they trying to make me cuss, where's Ashton, the only reason I didn't go slap off and cuss is because she was the one who let me use her charger. After I get my food, they started pouring hot soapy water on the floor to clean up but they didn't change gloves continuously plus the stud and the one who later turned out to be a woman kept reaching in their saggy pants to make "adjustments " to their boxers. If my cellphone had a chg and I wasn't stuck at the airport without a ride, I would have left. Thank God my cab...

Tonight our water thin tall dude was the awesome est guy was on top of it all. The cook however black dude was a bit ugly rude and inappropriate AT ALL. The two servers both male n female was great specifically our dude. Spot on But the cook was complaining bout shift change at 9 and he was over it not working we needed to get our order NOW HE NEEDED IT. and speaking unapologetic to servers and very nasty inappropriate. Thanks God Bless 🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️ June 7th 2022 Tonight or afternoon was HORRIFIC the lady cashier was on phone the whole time taking order plus a tall dude same dude listed above come in early wasn't supposed to be there till 900pm (got that much) totally almost attacked the short guy cook !!! He yelled at cook right in front of all is in there ! Profanity etc.... All the short cook did was said leave me alone I'm not talking over n over n over n over this went on 10/15 minutes - lady on phone didn't help the ppl in there was shocked including us the tall guy needs to be fired this is second incident he had showed foul language and picked fight ... This place is not worth it won't be back the tall guy was standing outside waiting on trouble I felt scared I hope n pray nothing goes on tonight during shift change it bc was at I bad the owner or manager was called put on speaker phone headed up there to deal with problems. Horrible needs to BE CLEANED THERE IS NO WAY PASS INSPECTION ITS FILTHY NASTY IN THERE AGAIN WON'T BE BACK ! SAD ITS OUR GO TO PLACE PEACE GHETTO PROFANITY...

The workers at this place are so unbelievably rude and disrespectful. No one acknowledges you when u come in. Everyone walks around looking lost because no one wants to take your order. When you take it upon yourself to try to get some assistance, the attitudes increase times ten and then they gather up like a flock talk about you and give u more attitude or try to ignore you.The disrespect was so unbelievable, I waited outside to stay calm until my order was ready. When I went back in to check on my order I was completely ignored. My fiancee had to come inside and address the situation. It got so bad to the point I asked for a refund. They didn't want to give me my refund stating that my food was ready which by the way was made wrong. I specifically said I didn't want my eggs scrambled and requested over easy. When handing me my food, I was sized up by the employee, she rolled her eyes along with her co workers who condoned this behavior as they talked among themselves instigating and escalating the situation which could have easily ended in a physical altercation as words WE'RE exchanged at that point. This place needs a whole new crew of employees, they all were rude and disrespectful, they don't care about the customers at all. They are miserable ppl so it seems, and only want to ruin a person's day. It sad that ppl get a paycheck to make something for someone as simple as trying to get breakfast such a bad experience. I highly recommend not eating at this particular waffle house. It's sad...
