Super 8 by Wyndham Jefferson — Hotel in Jefferson

worst place ever! very rude! my mother ,my 11 yr old daughter ,my 5 yr old son and i got a room with a hot tub and the jets on the hot tub did not work. and when i went to pull mattress out of the hide a bed couch i found a whole nest of spiders. as the man from the front desk was looking at the couch for the spiders he had me help him flip the couch over on its front end and then he sprung the mattress out and hit my 59 yr old mother with the frame. it skinned her shin from top to bottom. when i told him we wanted to change hotels he proceeded to remain in the room watching us as we rounded up our stuff even though my children needed to change out of their p.js. so needless to say my children didn't change because i felt he was entirely to inappropriate and got my babies out of there. after we got into the car we stopped at the main entrance for my mom to go in to get her refund for our awful room and the man didn't want to give her her refund ! he said that we used his stuff and the tub. this is coming from the same man that hit her by the way! worst hotel i ever thought i'd find. then their corporate didn't care about my mothers leg at all they wanted a picture of the spiders and didn't make things right. here i posted a pic that was taken within 5 min after he hit...

Twice I have visited this property and both times housekeeping has not respected the Do Not Disturb sign. First time they came knocking at 9am, this time they walked in without knocking or announcing themselves at 10:15. Fortunately I had just put pants on. When I complained to the desk they told me people frequently leave the sign out when they go. Well, then you wait until the sign is gone or checkout time! Noisy, as is frequently the case with Super 8 as they are cheaply constructed. Desk chair's pneumatics had collapsed so I had to put two pillows on the chair so my knees were not in my chest. Price as high as the Cobblestone (a fine hotel) across the road because they are closed due to recent storm damage and the lowly Super 8 is now the only game in town. Next time I'll stay in Boone, IA, half an hour's drive away or sleep in my vehicle before I give these people...

We stayed at this hotel and there was black mold in the room, the room smelled horrible..Most importantly they charged us 3 times for a room...called the manager of the property on Monday said he was taking care of it should of been returned to my account by Wednesday. checked it Wednesday was not returned to my account. Called the hotel back on Wednesday and was told the manager would call me back and never did.I called again Thursday I was told he was busy in the restroom, he finally called and said he did not take care of Monday he took care of it Tuesday...So don't worry it's only money you plan for your trip...they don't obviously care and further more. Don't waste your time with corporate, THESE ARE INDIVIDUALLY OWNED I Was told..even though they represent the company, they really don't care as well...I guess I will file a police report when I get home...the worst...
