I hate to write poor reviews but after multiple issues my husband and I decided to share our experience. I’m just going to list everything separately.
Check-in: It was moderately inconvenient that every piece of instruction was written in long paragraph form. Also, we were traveling with limited internet access the day of our arrival and did not anticipate needing internet to check in. When I asked if they could simply text direct instructions since we didn’t have internet to do the online registration, they stated they could not. This was anxiety inducing for us. Obviously you need a key to enter your room but there was no security measures for entering the building at all. Given some of the surrounding area seemed less than safe this made us feel uneasy. The bed was EXTREMELY firm. It was so uncomfortable my husband had back pain for multiple days following. We actually didn’t even sleep in the room the last night of our stay because it was so uncomfortable. One of our lamps was half out and stained with something unpleasant to look at. The AC unit in the room was loud/squealing. Our fan did not function. Our TVs worked 50% of the time. The walls are paper thin. We could hear EVERYTHING from people walking/talking at a normal volume level in other rooms. Part of the complimentary breakfast we ordered for the road was not given to us. We didn’t realize until we were on the road.
I should note we did not share any of these things at the time because we tried to overlook it. However, recently we had yet another issue that led us to share our experience.
We were overcharged over $60 on our card. I called to share this information and they offered a refund of about $1 less than the amount we were overcharged. I accepted since I did not feel like fighting for $1.
Pros: they texted a few times to check in. They allowed late check out for no additional cost. The room was clean minus the stained lamp. The owner seemed friendly at the coffee shop and made drinks for us that were not on the menu. They were quick to process the refund they offered but part of that refund originally showed as processing in my bank and now is no longer there. I called and they said to give it a few days so we will see...
Read moreI’ve stayed at Intersect 311 at least 6-7 times and I am never disappointed! After my first time staying there, around 3 years ago, I knew I was never going to stay anywhere else when I come to Jonesboro. It’s great if you have kids or pets because it has all the amenities of home and it is so much better than a hotel room. If your kids ruin their clothes you can just toss them in the washer and dryer the same way you would at home or if you need to make a bottle or cup you can easily do that too! I hated traveling with my young kids because staying in a hotel made everything more inconvenient and they had no room to run around. Since I discovered this place I don’t mind traveling with kids or pets at all because it really is just like being at home!
They are always clean and have just about anything you would need to cook or clean or do laundry. Checking in and out is a BREEZE. It’s one of my favorite things about them because you just pull up to the unit you’re staying in and do everything from your phone. It’s so convenient! They’re also nice people and professional. There have been a couple of occasions where I have dealt with Heather directly over an issue with my booking dates accidentally getting switched or needing to extend my stay and she has always been nothing but pleasant and extremely accommodating.
Genuinely, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. It’s such a hidden gem! I will continue to book with them every time I come...
Read moreNice place for travellers to take a break. It has a small kitchen complete with dishes and cookware, a bathroom with a washer and dryer, a living room and a nice, comfortable king size bed in the bedroom. You can relax, do your laundry without going to a laundry mat and unwind. Small dogs stay for free and there is a small yard behind the building. Contactless check-in, Zero hassle and modern furnishings. What more could you ask for. It's not the quietest location with it's proximity to the railroad tracks but it's not bad by any means. I will definitely stay here again any time I am traveling in or thru this area and I highly recommend it for anyone who has been on the road for more than a couple of days. Plenty of restaurants nearby and if you want to cook your own meals there are grocery stores as well. If you don't enjoy your stay here it's because you spend too much time looking for something to complain about. I've traveled the country from coast to coast and this is a great place. Far better than many I have stayed in. There is no front desk to call and complain but I haven't seen anything to complain about. Intersect311, you hit a home run with this place! Thank you very much and I look forward to...
