We are not from Jonesboro so we were really excited to try this cute little spot after it was recommended to us. We are the type of people that try any establishment twice before writing it off but would not give this place a second chance. After waiting 3 hours to be seated, the only thing worth talking about is the lemonade. To be fair, this was the day of ASU graduation so we expected a longer than usual wait time but this was excessive after being told there would be an hour wait.
The food was terrible-dry meat, had no seasoning and luke warm at best. The homemade house fries were dark, unseasoned and basically burned. When I asked for a different batch, they came out still dark, unseasoned and soft. I ordered a chicken, bacon, ranch wrap that had no ranch what so ever. It tasted like it had been seasoned with some sort of taco seasoning. The chicken was dry. I was barely able to eat half of the wrap and left there still hungry.
My husband ordered the gulf coast tacos. The sauce was some sort of cilantro lime sauce that was not good. The chicken was dry dry like take a bit and get something to drink dry. The fries tasted like they’d been sitting under a lamp for hours.
My kids love chicken tenders, both of them refused to eat the tenders from this establishment which never happens with my kids. It tasted like they took the meat out of the package, dipped it in the batter and fried it without seasoning
We had 5 kids in our party and some of the children’s meals came out at least 20 min after all the adults food came out.
Our waiter Bo was nice! We had a larger party and he handled it well.
Again, will not be going back or...

Appetizers:
Fried green beans - they are so good my son who hates green beans said he wouldn’t like them, loved them. I mean they are fried what’s not to like.
Eggrolls - we did not have them this trip but we did last time. I really enjoyed them and they had great flavor. You throw in a little southwest spicy ranch on them and they’re even better.
Onion ring tower- the onion rings were OK. That’s about it. I think the corndog batter they use gets a little too soggy. It held a little too much oil in the batter.
Sasquatch burger - this big double patty burger was great. A little overcooked, but had great taste still. I added grilled onions to it. It’s large enough that I had to cut it into and could only finish half. I’m a big boy so that’s saying a lot.
The lemonades were delicious, my son enjoyed his flight of four. My daughter, of course had her favorite lemonade. For me, I went with one of these sugar-free options that they offer.
The only reason that I’m not gonna one star is because of the service. The service started off strong and then faded quickly after we made our appetizer order. Our server would come by about every 20 minutes. In that time we had ran out of drinks several times.
Definitely try this place if you are...
Read moreAesthetically, it's a cutesy little place with a decent vibe.
The lemonade flavors are a nice angle for something different, but they're all overly sweet, much like the lemonade you'd get at the fair. This isn't a good or bad thing...but worth noting, as you're basically drinking syrup.
The service was passable, I guess. The waiter forgot to bring plates for appetizers, even after being asked, and we had to have someone else bring us our check at the end. None of this is anything I'd complain about. It happens.
The food, however, was shameful. The onion rings were undercooked and doughy. The chicken on the nachos and the chicken brochette was unbelievably dry (more like chicken jerky). And the $10 hotdog had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp while everything else was being prepared, so it was competing with the chicken to be the most dry thing on the table. If I were the owners, I would be ashamed to charge money for any of this food.
Skinny J's is a block down the street and the food there is so much better. I'd recommend walking a few extra steps and eating a...
