I really can’t believe how this property treats its customers. I’m waiting on my weeks deposit refund of $2,913.53. My wife and I could not stay at this property for more than one night. We wanted to, we tried, but in the end, we just couldn’t, not satisfied with anything. Just not a quality place. Spanish tiles on the floor from the 1970s. I have blood clots in my legs, extremely painful, I can’t do that. They told me they would “try” to find me another room with carpet, but that was not the only issue by any stretch of the imagination. The closet is ridiculously small, my wife and I had to leave our clothes in our hang up bags, no room to hang them up in the closet. We both had totally sleepless night. The mattress and the box springs were so incredibly old and thin, very uncomfortable, absolutely miserable, no rest at all. It’s quite obvious they spend no money on chairs, tables, beds, remodel or upgrades, everything looks like it’s from the 1970s. If that’s what you’re looking for, well, you can find it here, but not us. Everything is very old and rickety. Sad to report. No hairdryer in the room, the list goes on and on. No room in the parking lot for me to park my car or my wife’s car we both had to park off property and walk as the parking lot at the hotel was totally full. I will not continue to bore you with anymore, but just know it’s all very unacceptable. I paid for one night separate and stayed there that night, but the other seven nights we just couldn’t endure it. I pleaded with the management. We did not want to leave, it was not our first choice. It was a huge inconvenience to say the very least, but we both felt very strongly that we just could not stay there another night. Totally unacceptable accommodations. I told Management that I didn’t want to have to write this review. I pleaded with them, but their response to me was no refund. So I’m put in this terrible sad position to write this review. I told Management, I just don’t understand how you don’t refund the customer their money when the accommodations are unacceptable to the customer. I said them, you can’t shove a product down a customer when they don’t want to purchase it. So we paid for a week that we were unable to stay there because of their accommodations. I wish someone could...
Read moreFirst yes the place has nice view. That I have to give them. Amenities… For the price? Hmmmmm…
Basically this place is an old motel with 3-4star hotel pricing. They do have free (weak) coffee in the morning.
Rooms are good size but bathrooms are old and basic. The mattresses are old and springy.
Service crew are very nice and friendly. Jose & Sonia were great. Customer service was on point.
The older lady called Sara…. She’s civil enough. Until you ask for a small favor like I did. I asked for late checkout because of some travel circumstances. Funny thing is at first I was being helped by Sonia and Sara just rudely intervened. She didn’t even act like she cared. Without even checking in their system, she coldly said, “we don’t do late check out because we’re fully booked”. Guess what, I checked in their website and they’re not. Obviously she lied. So I went back to the desk and asked nicely again and informed her that I know our check out date is not full. By then she acted looking at the computer while denying our request. At that point I felt insulted and felt that maybe if I was white that she might’ve given me some of her time so I just left. She even speaks rudely to their own cleaning staff.
One thing is for sure. Even though this place is not perfect, I would’ve considered coming back. Despite the underwhelming amenities, we we’re trying not to concentrate on the things that bugged us about this place. But when a service staff is rude and lies to you on your face… That changes everything.
Oh yah! They might have bug problems as they had guys knocked on our door and said they needed to do some bug spray. They were going from one room after another. I didn’t know how to feel about this. Spraying chemicals while we (guests) we’re in the room.
For almost 300/night… definitely a big disappointment for us.
Note: Changed from 1 star to 2 star because of the owner’s kindness. She was kind enough to apologize and offered us the late checkout...
Read moreWell designed, pleasant and pleasing architecture, small hotel with under 40 suites. All have glass sliding doors to a patio or balcony with a Harbor view, as the name implies, it is on the Intracoastal looking out to Jupiter Island across the water, and the hotel has its own dock which you can walk out and sit down on if you bring one of the chairs on your patio or balcony. Most of the rooms surround a lovely pool and pool deck, great for kids, which is just inside the fence separating the hotel grounds from the shoreline of the Intracoastal waterway as your back yard. I'm an Aquarius so I love it. Rooms are well designed studios and larger. They have a few choices of size. It is located less than a mile north of the Martin County line on the East side of Rt. 1. Blue Point grill is less than a mile north on the Intracoastal just past this hotel, for casual outdoor roof-covered dining, or a host of restaurants just a mile or 2 south on Rt 1, including Buco, in the Publix shopping center, a very pleasing place in all ways, and Jersey Diner for a quickie bite. Downtown Jupiter and the large shopping centers just to the south are only 4 and 5 miles and 10 to 15 minutes away. There are no hotels in that area mentioned above that can match the Jupiter Waterfront Inn in the quality and reasonable price categories. Plus, EVERYTHING WORKS, both in the room and in the facility, and at all the private or chain Flag hotels I've stayed in over the last month, in this area, within 25 miles radius, NONE can compare favorably with the Jupiter Waterfront Inn. It's a Find. Whether you're using a service like Hotels.com, which Expedia owns, or book directly with the hotel itself, you won't suffer sticker shock. It's a great value as well as a lovely place. But with less than 40 rooms, don't wait, just book it. You will be glad you did. It's the kind of place you want to take pictures, even for those souls who don't take a lot of...
