Golden Chopsticks — Restaurant in Tequesta

Customer service is horrible and food is mediocre. Received an order that was burnt. I called and complained and was transfered to someone whom I was told was the manager. He informed me that he would send out another one. 1hr later I still had not received the replacement so I called back and was told by the same person that he would call the driver. 30 minutes later I called again and this person said the driver was on his way, I said I did not want it anymore and asked for a credit intead. I was told that a credit could not be given. I asked why and he said because he could not. I said ok, well I do not want the food anymore everyone else had already eaten.. I asked if I could have his name and he told me I didnt need his name and told me not to call back again. I did not raise my voice in any way nor was I disrespectful...

We always order takeout with delivery. Have tried many so called "Chinese" restaurants here in the Palm Beaches including those with the high ratings and puffed up fees and delivery charges. Golden Chopstitcks is a find which many have not heard of. They are local to Tequesta and Jupiter, hidden away in a US 1 strip mall and hands down, best Chinese in this area. While not quite the quality of New York or San Francisco eateries, this will satisfy your quest for decent food. Haven't eaten in house so cannot speak to table service however, delivery, although at times late due to a pletheroa of individuals requesting; service is always with a smile. Food is not overly salted and tastes great. Order their specialty items during the slow weekday and afternoons and you will definitely be pleased. ...

I really wanted some Chinese this past weekend. I love to support local, so I stopped in Golden Chopsticks. My husband and I got two combo meals, which give a you the entree and rice plus a choice of soup, egg roll or soda. We got one egg roll - which was very tasty and one soup. Way too much food, so I put the soup in the fridge for later. Let me tell you, this soup is even better cold than hot. Try it some time. Hubby got beef lo mein, which was very good. I got sweet and sour pork. I was expecting the fried meat and some veggies or fruit. But all I got was the fried meat and a side dish of sweet sauce. If they had put some veggies and fruit in the sauce, would have been perfect. I would go there again. I'd just get a...
