"The Victorian experience was truly extraordinary. From the moment we stepped through the front door of the newly renovated inn, we enjoyed every facet - the warm welcome upon arrival and the attention to design detail showcased throughout every room. We were treated like VIP's by the incredible staff - Keli, Darlene and Joe. We could tell that the owners meticulously labored over every detail in this amazingly beautiful restoration. We loved the gas lanterns that lined the brick walkway and the huge front porch with the swing built for two. We stayed in the Wedding Suite complete with a gas fireplace, huge claw foot bath tub, plush robes, Apotheke toiletries, and an extra large shower. The bed was very comfortable, dressed with premium linens, pillows and comforter. We loved making drinks, having snacks, and socializing at the cool newly designed bar, and playing cards while listening to music in the library.

The town of Kent was very quaint, with both sides of the street lined with unique shops, restaurants and art galleries. You must check out the cool shops/galleries in Kent Barns right off the main street too. We also took advantage of the great hiking around Kent where we took in the beautiful scenery at Kent Falls.

Without hesitation, we highly recommend the Kent Collection Victorian Inn and we can't wait...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the lovely Victorian Inn for my birthday weekend getaway, and it was nothing short of perfect. From the moment I came across it while planning our trip, it immediately stood out—and for good reason. The inn is stunning inside and out, and the seasonal holiday decorations were absolutely breathtaking.

Keli, the innkeeper, greeted us warmly upon arrival, gave us a lovely tour, and went out of her way to personalize our experience with complimentary birthday champagne. Since we were the only guests at the time, she generously upgraded us to the Victoria & Albert suite, which made the stay feel even more special.

The inn offers light snacks (chips, cookies, yogurt) and beverages (water, juice, coffee, tea), which was a thoughtful touch. If you want something heavier, the Inn is just a short walk to the center of Kent. The town itself is quintessential New England—quaint and full of character—with small shops, cafes, boutiques, and art galleries to explore.

As others have noted, the staff here is extremely discreet and respectful, which makes for such a peaceful, relaxing stay. The living spaces are spotless and cozy, and I truly think I had some of the best sleep of my life lol.

Absolutely magical stay at The Victorian in Kent, CT!

I don’t typically write hotel reviews, but our experience here was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff, especially Joseph, who truly went above and beyond. He was always available if we needed anything—attentive, thoughtful, but never intrusive. His presence alone elevated our stay.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful—charming, elegant, and even more stunning than the photos online. Every common space felt like a curated escape: spacious, cozy, and tastefully designed, with so many lovely corners to relax in. And the snacks! There were plentiful, delicious treats available all day, which made us feel right at home.

Our room was spectacular—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, spacious, and unbelievably comfortable. It struck that perfect balance between luxury and warmth, and we didn’t want to leave.
