Our travel baseball team reserved rooms for 2 nights here with a discounted price. Upon arrival were husband an We were charged two different prices for the 2 rooms. That night around approx. 10pm my son (13 yo) knocked on our door to which we could not open. Called Front Desk and Mr. Attitude answered. His reply was "Okay, will be up soon." 45 mins later, we heard rattling at the door for about 5 mins then nothing. Husband called Mr. Attitude and was informed that maintenance would be up to fix it. At 1:45 AM, I called the Front Desk and this time a woman answered and all she knew was Maintenance would be here soon. At 4:23 am we were finally free. This was due to my husband removing part of the motel room door handle and used (and ruined) several pocket knives and my nail files. I immediately went downstairs and the woman front desk girl stated, "Oh Maintenance never showed up." I informed her that room 207 is a fire hazard and needs to be fixed. I requested a refund and a new room for that night. I was informed only the own can give refunds and he will be in on Monday and she could not put me in a room because the rooms were full. She would notify the owner and have a room ready for us when we returned around 230pm Well at 315pm, I went into the lobby only to find a new front desk who appeared to be under the influence. We attempted to explain to him what had occurred and that we understood I would have to wait until Monday but we needed another room. He kept trying to put us back in room 207. I told him I did not think he was listening and began to explain the story over. Then Mr. Attitude began to yell from across the room, that I could take my attitude somewhere else. I told him that room 207 is a fire hazard and should not be rented to anyone, and what is the explanation for nobody coming to open the door? Mr. Attitude's reply, "Well you are out right? You can leave right now and you're going to be arrested." My son is upstairs in his room and I told I cannot go any further in the motel. Mr. Attitude was screaming at me, cussing at me, telling me that I will be arrested. I called 911. Had to wait for police to escort me to my son's room, pack up that room. I called on Monday, where the owner informed me that the door lock is ruined (due to my husband and myself ruined getting out) and all my children were loud, roaming around and caused damage to his pool." My reply was- I was held prisoner in my room, if I would out I would watch all my children running wild (I only have one son). He took my number said he would call me later and let me know when he refunded my money. Later that evening he left a message he was sorry and my money was refunded. I checked my bank and pending was the amount of the cheaper room and both deposits. Other parents had trouble with deposits, one parent was charged for 3 rooms (she had one) and one family only stayed one night because they were locked out of their room for most of the night and the owner told her "no refunds will be given" Last night looking at my bank account, no pending return charges from the hotel, looks like he canceled the refunds. I contacted my bank and filed a dispute with merchant. This morning I contacted the Fire Marshal for a violation. I am writing this review for Google and one for Wyndham.

Read moreA friend of mine booked two rooms. When I arrived at the hotel I reqiested that the charge for the room be changed to my card which the front desk clerk said could not be done because it was booked through a 3rd party sight. No problem can you tell me what he paid for the room so I can make sure to pay him the correct amount. She gave me the price but indicated that my friend had not signed all the paperwork he needed to sign. I said I will text him to let him know I am here I am sure he can come down and sign off on whatever was missed as we are about to leave for dinner. I was given your standard initial here for no smoking etc form that I signed which resulted in what I can only say was the strangest worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The front desk clerk began yelling at me about how neither I nor my friend knew how to listen and that she had instructed me not to sign the form. I told her it was not ok to yell at me about signing the form and that I had no idea what her problem was and asked if there was a manager on duty that we could speak to. She initially indicated by motioning that the manager was sitting at a table not far away that there was a manager but then quickly said she was not going to tell me who the manager was because I was rude. I said I signed a form and you yelled at me I am not being rude but ma'am you do not get to speak to me like that without me wanting to find discuss your behavior with a manager. She told me I could not I interrupt the conversation at the table which I believed included the manager which I ignored and said excuse me but are one of you gentlemen the manager here? They indicated that they were and I asked for them to please intervien in the situation. After sharing the experience the manager appeared annoyed with me as well and did not care so I requested the room my friend had reserved for me be refunded as I was prepared to sleep in my car before I would pay this hotel for the absolute worst service I have ever seen in my 40 years. After multiple requests for a refund to be applied and multiple attempts to claim I could not be given a refund because I had checked in which I had not and was still attempting to complete when all this began I requested a district manager contact as I was not about to stay and compensate this facility with such poor service they agreed to refund my friends account.
I walked across the parking lot to the quality inn and requested a room. Stephanie was super pleasant and helpful and even though I ended up paying 30 more a night to stay, I was not about to return to the Baymont. I feel like I am in the twilight zone as I have never seen a more inappropriate employee or been treated so poorly by any hotel in my life. I am currently attempting to locate where I can send additional follow up for ownership in addition to finding the corporate address in the hope that they will address the obvious lack of training for the front desk as well as the poor handling of the problem by management. I will return in the morning after the shift change hoping that someone, anyone can help me determine who owns the hotel as anyone who has any investment in this property should know this was the single worst experience at a hotel I...
Read moreThis is one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I travel quite often and needed a place late after travelling 3000 miles from home, alone. I booked through Priceline and showed up at hotel around midnight. After being dropped off, I checked into my room. 1st thing I noticed was the window to room 136 was wide open and the screen was broken through. When I closed the window and tried to latch it, only one latch worked. The other was broken. I was running on little sleep and decided to just lock the latch and take a shower, since I had to be up at 5am to go to Pikes Peak. When I went to latch the deadbolt on the main door, it wouldn't lick from the inside. It was already 4 hours before I had to leave, so I just pushed a table and chair in front of the door, opened the hatch and laid on the bed and watched TV until my ride showed up. I went to the front desk very calmly and explained they needed to do some work in that room and explained all details. Mohammad was the front desk guy and he was sincerely apologetic and offered to comp room 201 for tonight and give a full refund for the room situation. Said the manager would be in this morning. I told him I needed to find a room for the night and he clearly said to come back to baymont and let them make it right. I showed up at 450pm and was expecting to get a room and some much needed rest. Well that didn't happen. MD,( sp) was very disrespectful and unpleasant. He said there were no notes, his manager was out of the state and if I needed a number to reach corporate, that I could look it up myself. I called corporate and filed a complaint. Then 20 min later received a call from another man who said they had previously just offered a $20 discount. That was never ever a conversation at any time. The original interaction went exactly as to be expected by such a notorious company, but the customer service, well lack thereof, after that, was appalling. I was called a liar. I hope you have cameras in the front desk and go back and listen to the conversations that took place today. I took videos and pictures of the breakfast buffet not being adequate. Waffle machine was broken, bagels were stale, toaster was broken, and eggs weren't available due to the non existent egg shortage we're no longer having. I decided to write this review to suggest families not come to this hotel. Do not use this company. I am a very fair and professional reviewer. Top 10% reviewer in the world. I wouldn't leave this review if I didn't...
