Coast to Coast Compounding — Local services in Lakewood

So sick of this place, I will NEVER deal with them again. Most of the time they are rude to me on the phone. Because of how rude they usually are and the fact that it is so far away, I have been considering asking my doctor for a different compounding pharmacy to fill my prescription. On 3-14-23, I called at 9:43am to ask for a refill. I was only able to leave a voicemail because nobody answered. I left my name, phone number, and the refill info and asked if it was possible to get it as soon as possible. They sent me a text at 10:11am saying they got my voicemail and were currently processing my prescription. I heard nothing from them again until I called them on Friday, the 17th at 9:57am to ask about it. This time a woman answered; and surprisingly, she was not rude. I asked when it might be ready, because I live all the way across town and have to plan for this trip. At first she could not find it, then she went to check on it, came back and said it would probably be ready later that day. I can't help wonder if they just tossed it aside. I heard nothing more from them again until Monday, the 20th. I have contacted my doctor to let him know I want to deal with a different compounding pharmacy from now on. I considered not even picking up this one and just sticking them with it, but I did not do that. Too bad for them that I believe in leaving Google reviews. Really rotten customer service.

Update: I really should have just not picked this order up. The junk they gave me is runny, has little tiny beads of something in it, and actually does not work. The tubes were filled haphazardly, not evenly and there have been air bubbles in them, so I could not always get an accurate dose. The whole reason for using bioidentical hormone cream is to get relief from the symptoms of low hormones. This runny junk hasn't worked at all. Automatic refills seem to be a mystery to this pharmacy as it’s never happened automatically despite me “signing up” for it. Extremely inconvenient when you are running low and end up having to drive to go pick it up to get it faster. I called in advance to get my prescription filled and sent out to me via mail because my condition didn’t allow for extended periods of driving and I was assured by technician B that it would get filled and shipped same day, but to be patient due to shipping delays. Over two weeks later I was out of medication and suffering from the effects so I call and leave a message asking where it is. Surprise! To cover their mistake of never filling it they overnight it to me and never call me back. I call again and speak with the pharmacist S who acknowledged the oversight as I requested an apology from the technician who put me in that medically compromising position. Radio silence. This place is phenomenal! The owner, Wendy & her staff have helped me in so many ways! They took the time to educate me and not just about the medicines my doctors asked them to make for me! They helped me understand what was happening in my body. I received so much empathy and support from these folks that it literally blew me away! A dear friend visited COAST TO COAST to pick up my medicines when I was unable to drive, and when she returned with my prescriptions she delivered a bag of supportive remedies that the pharmacy thought would be helpful. These were gifted to me in hopes they would help me, and they did help! I wish I’d known about this place sooner! I simply can’t say enough great things about this place!
