This isn't a five star hotel, but I'm giving it a five star review because it met and exceeded my expectations for a budget motel. I spent one night here while passing through town on a road trip. Check in was easy and the person working in the office was friendly and efficient. ||The price was great, and I was pleasantly surprised when I entered my room. Yes, it's an old motel and frankly a bit shabby on the outside. But indoors, my room was up to date in all the things that matter. ||This may be the cleanest budget motel room I've ever stayed in. The floors are not carpeted, which I appreciate. Hard flooring is IMO more hygienic. These floors were clean. They appear to be vinyl plank flooring. The wall paint was clean, the bed linens were fresh, white, and feel nice. The bathroom fixtures and finishes have been updated and looked fresh. ||There were no table or floor lamps in my room, but the lighting was better than in most hotel rooms. There were strategically placed modern overhead lights throughout the room. Instead of a clutter of useless lamps and clock radio, the nightstand was clear and there were four (!) electric outlets conveniently located on the wall there - more than enough to plug in chargers for my phone and other electronics. Kudos to the person who made that decision. ||The room's HVAC unit is up to date and worked well. I stayed on a fall day that was warm and turned cold overnight. Both the air conditioning and heating worked, and the room was comfortable throughout my stay. ||I liked the old fashioned layout, where I could park my car right outside my room. My vehicle was loaded with my things for a long road and camping trip. Parking by my room was convenient for loading and unloading the things I needed or wanted to keep with me in the room.||I'd stay here again in...
Read moreWhile driving from Phoenix my original plan was to stay in Albuquerque over night. When I got there I found out the hotel that I was going to stay at was booked. So I was going to keep driving all night. But finally decided to stop in Las Vegas when I saw the sign that was lit up on the road. I pulled into the closest motel. The front desk attendant Sam was very friendly and helpful! One of the nicest persons that I meant along the way! The room was was a great price! For about $50 compared to what I would of spent in Albuquerque! Plus Sam showed me their security cameras and told me that I could park my Uhaul truck right by their office and that they would watch it on camera all night! Even got me a room close so I could keep an eye on it if I wanted to. Sam was even nice enough to help guide me when I was backing up the Uhaul which I greatly appreciate! The room was very nice! The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean! They even have a nice office desk space, microwave and coffee pot. The heater worked great and the room was warm and comfortable! They also have nice TVs in the rooms. You really can’t beat the price and hospitality! Another thing I noticed was it was right across the street from a gas station and Burger King which made it very handy in the morning to fill up with gas and grab some breakfast and coffee for the road. I know where I’ll stop next time when I’m driving through New Mexico! I wish Sam the best and thank him for the help! Hope to see you...

Liked · Location was perfect and close to eateries and tourist destination spots. We stayed in room #102 and we were pretty content with our setup! The room was super spacious and smelled fine. THE STAFF was SO WELCOMING! We really appreciated them for their warm welcome and were very happy with our stay! You can tell that this a family owned business and this hotel is in the process of being remodeled. They've done a really nice job at it too!
Disliked · There's a bit of noise off the road but I think all the hotels on this main thoroughfare experience some level of noise from the road. Loud exhausts from trucks and loud motorcycles. At night, it tends to quiet down a bit so we had no problem with getting some sleep after 9pm or 10pm and it didn't get noisy till after 10am in the morning. We stayed Monday through Wednesday.
The room was clean but could use a little more wipe down like on doors and walls and baseboards throughout the hotel room and the bathroom. Wasn't icky though! Other than that, this was a...
