Update Apr 26 2025. Food quality has slipped since our last visit. All dishes seem to taste the same. Protein content has been cut way back. My wife had Cashew Chicken and I had Szechuan Chicken. Mostly a veggie medley with very little chicken. The wonton soup was more of a vegetable soup - absolutely packed with bell pepper, strips of pork, onion, cabbage, mushrooms. BUT, NO traditional wontons. Instead they give you a few fried dry wontons that you add to your soup. No. Portions are still large, including the rib appetizer. Prices are still family friendly which explains why the place was packed tonight. We did take-out because we’re passing through and staying at a nearby hotel. New pics are attached. I’ve updated my ratings stars.
Update April 29 2023. Passing through again en route from AZ to CO and ordered take out. Spring rolls, wonton soup, shrimp and snow peas, Kung Pao Beef. Tasty, ready for pick up in just 10 minutes. Large portions. Great prices. Friendly staff.
UPDATE OCT 2022. Still a solid 4 stars. Stayed again in town on route from Colorado to Arizona and ordered take out. Happy to see that unlike last year due to Covid it was take out only, now the restaurant is open for dine-in and was busy. Glad they survived. Ordered sesame chicken, beef with broccoli, beef teriyaki skewers, won ton soup. SO much food for the price. Was not expecting such HUGE portions. Friendly staff - I was greeted immediately upon walking in to pick up my order.
To be perfectly fair, let's rate this restaurant based upon what it is - Chinese fast food. Pure and simple. Very affordable, fast preparation, friendly staff, clean building. This is basic fare. The value is what it's all about. The beef with broccoli was a large portion - enough for two for about $12. The Pu Pu platter serves 2-4 people. The shrimp and the teriyaki beef skewers were the best items in the variety followed by the egg rolls. My beef and broccoli entre came with sides of fried rice and egg drop soup. No, I wouldn't "write home" about the fried rice. It was good, not great. But as I've said, this is about the big picture - value priced Chinese take out. Give Little Moon some love and support....
Read moreI tried to go in for a takeout trade the waitress that was helping me at the time after I paid started to serve as she was serving me for one thing she was in a rush she did not have a smile on her face when I asked for one more serving of an particular item she was very rude and saying quote "I can't break the rules just for you!" Very rude service by that individual no customer or people skills and she shouldn't be working there I doubt very much I'll ever be going back there and if I do she better not be my waitress. I tried and call back so I could speak with a manager or the owner the girl that I spoke to on the phone was the same girl that's was serving me she was very rude on the phone and said if I want to complain then I could call back and talk to DD when I asked her what the owner's name was she said that she would not tell me I need to say that no one should be treated that way her attitude is really bad I would not recommend going there at all as a supervisor myself in a different profession still dealing with people customer service should never be that way there is a different approach for everything a person does when they have a paying customer involved I will continue to try to make my complaint and I want to make my complaint directly to the supervisor or maybe the owner which I would rather talk to because I think that this employee need some disciplinary action of some kind or some training on how to deal with customers I am very disappointed my Down syndrome child was with me and he saw the whole thing and was very upset cuz he wanted Chinese food and he felt that she treated his dad badly this is not right on any level something...

I have eaten a lot of food in my life! Much of that food has been Chinese food. I have eaten Chinese food all over the world! The Chinese food in the Istanbul Turkey AIRPORT was better than this place.
I just got off the ski slopes, got pulled over by a state trooper, and all I wanted was to sit down and enjoy a nice hot plate of glorious food from the orient. Instead what I found was that the chicken that general tso is so proud of drown in some kind of slime. The eggs must've been dropped on the floor before making the soup, because the soup looked like eggs and dishwater.
The Dr. Pepper to carbonation ratio was on point though. So that deserves one star. If you just need a cool drink this is your spot.
If you want Chinese you would be better off ordering lo mein from Francis the waiter at the truck stop outside town.
When I told the cashier that the food was awful, she didn't even offer to comp my meal. She told me they have a menu that I could order off of and they would make it fresh.
I should have read the reviews before I went. Don't make my mistake. Save yourself.
