Celebration Inn — Hotel in Lewisburg

Unfortunately, a single star is the LOWEST rating I can give this hotel. Celebration in was recently (April 2013) sold to an east indian man named Sukat Patel. I purchased a gift certificate in the amount of $300.00 for Celebration Inn in Lewisburg and Mr. Patel refuses to honor the gift certificate because, he says, he would not be getting any money. His regular room rates are $54.99 and he offered a room rate discount of $50.00 per room (a whooping $4.99 discount) in lieu of my $300.00 that I've already spent at the Hotel. We intended to have 8 or more couples meet up in Lewisburg from all over the area and enjoy a week end trip together in Lewisburg. I was going to reserve 4 rooms using my gift certificate and then the other couples would be paying for their rooms. Mr. Patel stated over and over that he would not honor the gift certificate now or ever and that he wouldn't be getting any money from the gift certificate so it was no good to him. Unfortunately, Mr. Patel, you just lost some great customers and what could have been repeat business. We just don't treat people like you are treating me...

I gave it 5 stars because the effort earns it. I was going to give it four, but I realized it was better that repairs like a patched wall were in the process of actually being done, rather than a nail hole needing patched and it not being attempted. I believe the motel is being Repaired and upgraded as fast as This crew can do it considering COvid hurting traveling Like it has. Neecha And her husband and crew keep a very warm friendly and clean environment.

It was a quiet stay, the bathroom was clean and smelled clean, the bed linen smelled fresh, as did the towels. The Room was clean, including the carpet. The TV microwave and refrigerator all worked. A coffee maker would have been nice but not all hotels offer that.

I felt my stay was worth the money I spent and I would gladly return next...

I would not recommend anyone to stay at this place. The curtains were water stained, and the room smelled of mold. There was no coffee pot in the room, for that matter no ashtrays either.. We had a smoking room and requested a couple of ashtrays, I was handed a plastic cup and an ashtray which was taken from the pool area. The people were friendly but the room was just not up to standard. The shower was terrible, had really good water pressure, but the shower curtain was so far in the tub you had no room to move, and the vent kept blowing the curtain in to you while you were trying to clean off.. There was not breakfast available, you could get coffee in the lobby in the morning though. Anyhow all and all I have stayed at much better places for a lot less money and would not recommend...
