I am originally from New Jersey and good pizza here in Tennessee hasn't always been easy to find. However I finally got around to try Kindred Pizza and I will have to say that I am impressed. I got The Works Pizza on a traditional crust for my first time and it was very good. The Works has pepperoni, sausage, green pepper, red onion, black olives and mushrooms. The pizza was cooked just about as perfect as a pizza can be. The crust was delightfully soft with almost a perfect amount of crisp in each bite. I would highly recommend The Works for anyone who may like a variety of toppings and flavors. The slices really hit the spot and the topping placement was spread about as evenly as it could be. If you live in Lewisburg and want a change of pace from the regular chain pizza places in town then I would highly recommend going to Kindred. Then again if you are just passing through and chose pizza then it is the place to go. I have worked at several different pizza places over the years and I have tried many different pizzas. I will definitely be back to try something different next time. I placed my order ahead and it was ready on site when I got there. The man at the counter was friendly and welcoming. They have a good variety of crust to chop from so it may take me a while to taste all of them. This is definitely the best pizza place in Lewisburg. As for the pizza itself, it is my top 5 best tasting pizzas I have had the pleasure of eating. It wasn't over greasy, actually it wasn't very greasy at all. It had a fresh aroma and looked great as well. Standing alone it doesn't need anything extra. However adding parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper only enhances what is already really good. I look forward to my next visit and think I am going to try the deep dish pizza next. I will definitely be back again and if anyone ask me then I can tell them hands down where the best...
Read more(Visited 12/7/24) So, I’m newer to town and have asked my in-laws about a hometown pizza shop with no success, until now. When you walk in the door the atmosphere is buzzing with families and busy staff. I was greeted by a kind blonde young woman at the register. 1st impressions are everything and she set a great tone. I grabbed a seat and waited on our order. This took a little bit, but they’re still really new, were busy, and the young woman was transparent about the wait time. I observed an owner bringing supplies and helping staff out - loved seeing this. Saw/heard about some of the items being organic and chopped fresh in-store. And I also witnessed the staff having a good time in the face of being busy, while being proficient and kind (don’t always see this). The staff engaged me when I was handed my order in a fun way and I left with a smile. Now, the food. I got the 16” pizza w/ two toppings. This was bigger than expected. Was enough for two toddlers, myself, and my wife to have some - with two pieces leftover. Crust was incredible, the sausage was chunked (not tiny chopped crap), and overall tasted delicious. The Cesar salad with chicken looked and tasted great too. My first experience was 10/10. Can’t say enough great things. Really enjoyed the staff and pizza. I’m particular for good staff who work well together (we can all see you) - so really appreciated all of them. Will recommend as the TOP pizza joint in town and...
Read moreThe numner 1 thing i hear ablit thks place is that its too expensive, they where correct. The food is good but it's not any better than domino's and their crust tast exactly like pizza huts surprisingly. I would love to keep supporting it but the prices are insanely high. I ordered the same pizza every where for $10-$18, $25 if its a really really good restauran. This place charged be about $30 💀 great food, but it's not a special gourmet pizza with some kind of rich flavor or special ingredients. There's way to many options that are just as good and half the price. They didn't even give me a generous amount of toppings or anything. Seamed like the bare minimum actually compared to other places. I tried a second time with a 1 toping pizza and it was still way to expensive, also still a bare minimum of toppings. I'm not even a cheapo I would totally be cool with paying that much if the pizza was...
