Honestly, I booked this room with great trepidation. If you've ever rented a budget- friendly hotel room in the Little Rock area, you likely know that the struggle is real. Immediately upon my arrival however, my fears were put to rest. The owner, who checked me in was very pleasant and accommodating. She took the time to go over the amenities (which include a very nice indoor pool and a complimentary breakfast buffet, just to name a couple) with me and encouraged me to reach out if I found anything lacking. My non-smoking room was neat, orderly, and very clean. Surprisingly, it smelled like a non-smoking room should - that is to say, fresh and clean. Included in the room was a king bed, microwave, mini fridge, and of course a TV. Also found was a single-serve coffee maker. Everything was in working order, and the bed was quite comfortable. Later, while walking through the hotel, I encountered several busy staff members, who were all quite personable and friendly. Both check-in and check out were hassle free. I didn't avail myself of the free breakfast buffet, but many fellow reviewers who did seem to agree it is quite good. My only nit-picky gripe concerns the in-room coffee. The coffee maker itself worked well enough. The issue I had was that the room was stocked with four coffee setups, two regular and two decaf. Each setup contains the coffee pack intended for use with the coffee maker, one sweetener packet, one sugar packet, one creamer packet, one napkin, and a stirrer. Honestly, one sweetener/sugar and one small creamer packet per cup just isn't enough. Also, there was only one paper coffee cup in the room, which I assume was an oversight. Aside from this however, I have no complaints. All in all, I am very pleased to have (finally) found a quality, inexpensive Little Rock hotel that checks all the boxes. I will absolutely be back to Best Western SW the next time I need accomodations. Great bang for the buck, highly...
Read moreWe arrived and found no face towels in our room, my husband went down to see if he could get some, and had to explain that we never had any in our room to begin with, after which the front desk personnel seemed to not "be able to find any" eventually he came back with towels so thin you could see through them. Well for 90.00 nightly I was kind of taken aback! But I was tired and we had a long ride so we went on. The next day we discovered we weren't gonna be able to leave Arkansas right away as we has planned so we caught an Uber and grabbed food, came back to our vehicle and I needed to use the restroom.. I stepped inside and asked the lady at the front desk if I could use the lobby restroom, she asked me if I had a reservation? I replied ma'am we literally just stayed here last night. May I used your restroom? meanwhile she was checking in a customer he was nodding to her as if to say, let her use the restroom, she never answered me, so I proceeded to the side hallway because it was either that or a less dignified step to follow. As I walked out, she immediately asked me if I was checking in?, I said ma'am all I did was use your restroom. She tells me I can't come in there unless I have a room. My husband and stepson were in the seated area to the side as it was 30 degrees and raining outside and we had literally just got out of the uber!! She told my husband he could not sit in there, he said I was waiting on my wife and we just wanted to keep warm, very politely might I add. She asked do you have a reservation? Almost as if she was just stuck on check in or reservation in order to even walk in there.. I had never experienced such foolishness in my life. Especially if you weren't just walking in off the street casually. But as I said we had just checked out not 5 hrs prior and paid almost 100 dollars for the room with no face towels.. but I guess I committed a sin for needing to pee and wash my...

They are money hungry feins
I made the mistake of booking a room here for one night, thinking it would be a safe and quiet place for my friends and me to hang out for a few hours. I only brought two people with me—there was no noise, no disruption, and we were respectful when entering the building. Yes, I booked a room for one person, but I’ve stayed at several hotels—including other Best Western locations—and have never once been told I couldn’t have a guest unless they were registered to the room. When I explained this to the front desk staff, I was met with nothing but rudeness.
We hadn’t even gone up to the room when the employee abruptly stopped us by the elevator and said, “No, get out. They can’t be here.” His tone was completely unprofessional and unnecessarily aggressive. The situation could have been handled in a much more respectful and courteous manner.
To make matters worse, when I asked for a refund—because I was never informed of this policy before purchasing the room—I was denied. Instead, the staff member tried to upsell me a two-bed room for an additional $36.
I’ve reached out to Best Western corporate about this experience, and while they’ve been completely understanding and responsive, no one at the hotel is returning calls or emails, and I still haven’t been able to speak with a manager.
This was an incredibly disappointing experience from start to finish, and I will not be booking with Best...
