Love this hotel. Initially found via PlugShare, looking for a hotel with a charging station. The EV-driving owner really leans into an eco-friendly hotel: dual-flush toilets, ductless mini-splits for HVAC, LED lighting, etc. (And of course, the luxury of pulling in with an exhausted battery and leaving full in the morning.) The colored accent lights in the room are... a bit much... but you can easily turn them off if they're not your thing. (The front desk staff can also turn them to white or your preferred color upon request.) The rooms have a nice assortment of basic amenities. The central courtyard isn't just for breakfast and the excellent pool, but actually feels like a giant shared living room. There are tables and chairs, rockers, games, books, and lists of recommended local restaurants and attractions. Breakfast is served in the morning and assorted treats make an appearance in the afternoon. The rooms aren't huge, but they're generous enough, plus I barely noticed since we kept going out there for down-time anyway. The only drawback, and the flip-side of the shared common area: until the pool closes at 10 PM, it can be a bit noisy. Fine for most adult sleep schedules, less great for getting kids to bed or if you plan to be out early. (Room includes a noise machine and earplugs, though.) All in all, a lovely little hotel I definitely hope to return to. Glad I decided to chance paying a little more than the chains.

The Worthington is a true gem—a boutique hotel with a charming Key West vibe that made me feel like I was on an island escape. The customer service was top-notch. Pam was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The decor captured the spirit of Key West beautifully—bright, breezy, and thoughtfully detailed with tropical touches that felt stylish but not overdone. The entire property was immaculately clean, both in common areas and in my room. What I loved most was the vibe: quiet, relaxed, and welcoming. It felt like a little retreat, even though the hotel is in a great location and close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The beds were comfortable, and the room was spacious with a decent sized bathroom with clean, fluffy towels. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh, flavorful options. The pool was located in the center of the building and is salt-water. It was well maintained and offered a nice way for the kids to cool down. If you’re looking for a peaceful, stylish stay with personal touches and island charm, The Worthington is it. I’ll definitely be back

A great place to stay, especially for kids. We were there on spring break so there were LOTS of kids and they all seemed to have a blast! It is noisy, even in the rooms, with all those youngsters-especially in the evening. But kids have to get out of the pool at 9 and adult swim only from 9-10 pm. After about 930, it got very quiet. The rooms were very clean and had a coffee pot & mini frig. They were quite large but no separate bedroom area, if you need that. Some rooms were adjoining, though. Breakfast was satisfactory with biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage, various bagels & cereals. ALL of the employees were wonderful! As far as the area, there's a winery/eatery on one side and a distillery on the other. So you don't have to drive anywhere to eat if you don't want. And of course it's in the heart of Hocking Hills, close to all of the beautiful trails & scenery.

"The Worthington" is not "worth a ton" specifically not 650 dollars for 2 nights. When I arrived I told the clerk I would be staying 3 nights. my card declined and I asked to just put the first night of our stay on my debit card so I could pay the remainder with my credit. After staying in the incredibly small room (the bed takes up the entire room) on the hard bed I decided that I would only want to stay 2 nights. When I went to pay for the next night in the morning the clerk told me that they had already charged me for all 3 nights on my debit card! Why! Why would you do that when I was so clear on how I wanted to pay.

They charged me 248 to cancel the night, the . They charged me for it on a card I asked them not to use while I was asleep. I don't understand why I should pay a cancel for the room that you forced me to buy. I know I said that I would be staying 3 nights but me saying that should not be an unbreakable contract. I never consented to paying for 3 days with that payment and you took it anyway and said no refunds! Absolutely mental!

As others have pointed out the layout of the hotel makes every room directly adjacent to the pool and the cafeteria. Making it loud at all ours. Breakfast was low quality, powdered eggs and the same disgusting French toast sticks that they served in highschool. Fine enough for a super 8 but for 248 dollars I think I'd would rather eat sand. One of the biggest problems is the lack of amenities. The pool was nice, but it is to small to swim laps and it's only 4 ft deep on the deep end. There wasn't even a microwave in the room! For such a premium price where does the money go?

The entire city of Logan is dirty and run down and the exterior of the building makes it fit right in. The rooms themselves were maybe 2 stars. Way to small. No bathtub. No microwave. No safe. 1 tiny window that overlooked the parking lot and and a dirty alleyway. The other window in the room is facing the interior of the building for some reason. Why is there a window there? I can only assume that it's there to let in even more of the noise from the pool because I didn't look out it but 1 time. I shouldn't be woken up by the sounds of the staff cooking up our gruel when I'm staying on the second floor of a hotel that costs so much.

Staff was cold and robotic when I asked for a refund. I literally was talking to Tammy about how I would be coming back to the Worthington for subsequent visits but...

This was an interesting hotel! I booked it because it was one of the only places still available in the area. I didn’t do research into it since it was wasn’t cheap and still available. I was expecting a traditional hotel but this wasn’t. We stopped for dinner right before we got here and my husband looked up reviews. He read it wasn’t in a great neighborhood, which I’m glad we were warned about! It was a little surprising where it was located and how small the hotel itself is. I wouldn’t call it a bad neighborhood.. just not what you’d expect. Same with the hotel itself, when you walk in there is a small office desk to check in at and very loud colors. My first thought was “crap, what did I get us into” but it turned out to be a nice stay. The staff was friendly, rooms are smaller but very clean. Mattress didn’t feel overly comfortable when I sat on it but didn’t hurt my back, which almost all hotel beds hurt my back, so that’s a win in my book. The temperature in room was easy to control and comfortable. Good channel selection on tv, small refrigerator in room. The pool is odd since it’s right in the middle of the building and all the rooms surround it (like an indoor motel) pool is smaller, don’t know if more than one family could enjoy it at once (especially with Covid) but it was clean and never seemed to be an issue that people were waiting to get in. At first I thought it was an older building someone refurbished into a hotel just because the set up is not typical, however when I looked up stuff about it I found out the hotel was just built last year and just opened early 2021.. so that’s kinda cool! It’s about a 20-25 mins drive to Hocking Hills and a 5 min drive to stores and restaurants. Also, a Moonshine place right across the street. We went over and did a tasting and they said they are about to open a bar and restaurant. So that will be awesome! The only things I could say bad is I do feel the price is on the high side for the accommodations and the continental breakfast was terrible. Basically cereal, yogurt and danishes. It would be nice to get some bagels or breakfast sandwiches. Or even finding some local goodies to serve. All in all it was a nice stay and would...

This hotel provided a unique tropical oasis feel. The ambiance in the center courtyard/pool area was amazing - sort of like an atrium with tropical plants and a skylight ceiling. Staff was very friendly during our stay. However, the room doors on both floors face the courtyard and with the way the hotel was designed it creates an echo chamber. The walls are also very thin. You could hear all the noise from the pool- little ones screaming, running and stomping in the room above and along the corridor along the second floor and down the steps over an over- till late at night and started again about 6:30am. We did not get much sleep and we’re exhausted from dealing with a power outage Also, I had booked through booking.com for a king room. Due to a change of plans I needed to upgrade to two queens. The staff was helpful and worked through it with some challenges. However, instead of just charging my credit card for the difference, they charged a full 240$ on my card. I ended up paying booking.com and the hotel for the same nights stay. When I discovered this in my cc statement I called the hotel. They basically made it sound like it was my error for using a third party booking sight and that I would have to call booking to resolve the issue. They refused to refund the overcharge. It took several days 5 phone calls to booking, several emails to get this resolved. It was such a hassle!!! I would have reasonably expected that since it was their error they should have resolved it without such a great deal of time and frustration...
