My family and I stayed here 3 weeks while my son was in ICU at hospital next door. We were in a two-bedroom suite which cost a fortune. It took 4 days of complaining to get the conditioner dispenser filled. The breakfast offered included black bananas and dirty plates. After silverware tray had had jelly smeared on it for 3 days straight, I found an employee and asked that they clean it. The cleaning crew pretty much ruined my stay. My family and I were rotating shifts at the hospital so there was usually always someone in the room except for 2 1/2 days. One day, they came to clean and changed sheets on two out of 3 beds and skipped vacuuming the room where they skipped the sheets. My sister asked them to change the sheets and vacuum that room. The maid was angry and refused to change the sheets. She vacuumed and after doing so, picked her nose and wiped it on the sheet (right where I sleep). She pulled the bedding up to hide her deed. While leaving the room with her vacuum, she walked by my sister and smiled, while passing extremely putrid gas. That night I pulled back the sheets to discover the disgusting gift she left as revenge for being asked to do her job. We reported it to management who assured us we'd be compensated. A bag of popcorn with a "we're sorry" note was our compensation. We spent thousands of dollars here. I do not consider popcorn much of a compensation for what we endured. I had to change the sheets myself after spending 13 hours at the hospital. During the 2 1/2 days that there wasn't someone in the room, the maids helped themselves to $3000 cash that I had in an inner pocket of my backpack. I realize I should never have had it there, but I didn't have time to think while packing to make the drive to CO after being told my son was 'dead on paper'. The room has a recycle bin so I was careful to separate recyclable goods from garbage, only to see it all dumped into the same trash bag out int the hall. I called once I was home and had discovered the theft. The manager said he's deal with it but of course I never heard a peep from him. I recommend you do NOT leave anything in the room you that don't want stolen and be prepared to clean your room yourself if you want it clean. Avoid this place if at all...
Read moreStayed there on 7/25 for 1 night, booked the Suite with two rooms, 2 beds, living area, small kitchen. Checked in and at first glance the suite was roomy, clean and worth the +200/night we paid. Fast forward to very early morning hours, we wake up to a bug on one of the pillows (see attached photos). We suspect bed bug and i bring my concern to the front office (Andrew) which says it is not a bed bug but as a typical procedure they state they have to contact the pest company to come out and check first thing in the morning. Didn't offer change of rooms or anything, just re-assuring that i will get the pest company report ASAP. Fast forward, i was told they called the Pest Company but don't know when they can come out to inspect. I was worried to take my luggage with me and Andrew offered that they can hold it if needed till the room is cleared. Check-out time was approaching and no word on the inspection so my wife talked with a lady in the front office and she was treated badly and told that we have to check out and take our stuff out of the room regardless and that she doesn't know anything about holding the luggage at their location. Had to talk to another member of the front office and showed him email evidence then they agreed to store our luggage.
Three days later without my luggage or the pest company report, Andrew stated that they inspected the room themselves and determined there is no need for the Pest company to come and the room is free of bed bugs. Then offered some Marriott points that is worth $40 and refused to give me full refund for the night stay. I didn't have access to my luggage for 3 days and had to deal with the possibility of bed bugs without an inspection report. Tbh, i expected better handling of the situation from a Marriott hotel that cares about their customer and the distress they go through with the uncertainity that a bed bug could be in their hotel rooms. I won't stay again at this location and my trust with Marriott is going south after...
Read moreIt was alright. I won't stay there again. My husband kept coughing day and night and we couldn't figure out what was wrong so I stayed there and he had to go to Wyoming for a while. He said his coughing has stopped and we were wondering why. He comes back to the hotel and his coughing started up again. Finally they came in our room and the air vent was so clogged and it was so bad it could of started a fire. After it was cleaned his coughing stopped. He has no allergies it was the dirty awful vent making him sick. Warning about the pool was so dirty and cold! They refused to turn up the heat which it is supposed to be a heated pool. I would have used it but after seeing how dirty and cold it was I couldn't use it. Actually no one should. I used to work in the hotel business years ago and I think this Marriott could do much better than what I saw and we were there all summer. The manager won't allow certain things like a heated clean pool or put money into the place like he should. I have gone to this Marriott because I'm closer to family and each time I return I notice it's going down hill. The people that work there are very friendly but since I do notice every detail about hotels I can say that the manager needs to do better and put money where it's really needed and if not eventually people will take notice and stop staying there. I had a terrible run in with another long term resident and they didn't do anything. I should of called the police but I was not thinking I was hoping that management would of taken care of the situation or gave us credit on the room something. I realized that the other resident I had the run in with was more important and everyone that stays there should be treated equally or have consequences. I have photos I'll try to put up. Housekeeping keeps the rooms very clean. I gave three stars only because most not all but most of the people that work there were...
