Satellite Motel — Hotel in Los Angeles

I don't typically leave negative, but this stay beckoned a written response:||||You know...when booking a hotel for under $100/night, there are certain allowances you pay to the establishment. Maybe it's not lavish. Maybe the area isn't great. Maybe the other guests are questionable. Yes, there are many factors an establishment, whether because of finances or the character of its clientele, cannot control and must merely attempt to manage, but what EVERY business, especially in the hotel/motel industry, can control is customer service.||||Yes, I can understand the fatigue that must come from being in an area that attracts uncivil, unclean, or even criminal behavior on your grounds, but what that DOES NOT give you permission to do is treat guests who have exhibited none of this behavior as if they're a problem waiting to happen. The lady at the desk was rude, aggressive, and didn't even attempt to mask her judgemental stares because I'm a young black man. I'm a friendly person. I greeted her upon arrival and her frown and steely stare oozed of "Oh God, another one." The only thing managed to say to me was "NO VISITORS", not once, but twice. No words even as she gave me the key.||||If I were the staff of a hotel in a bad neighborhood with smelly rooms, unclean bedding, and stained towels that I don't have the means (or care) to do anything about, I'd AT LEAST work on managing to smile and say hello to new guests instead of regarding them as another burden from check-in...

Roachity roach roach roach EVERYWHERE on EVERYTHING!!

This place was disgusting and they don’t offer refunds wish I had seen the reviews before going

Upon arriving the man in the window was rolling his eyes at me for no damn reason when I asked questions as if I didn’t have the right to question him he also refused to let me see the room before hand the outside didn’t look to bad so that wasn’t a dealbreaker although now I’m sure he knew we would see the roaches and refuse to stay there

We got inside and it didn’t look to bad we turned on the lights to look around so far good until my partner turned on the bathroom light and instantly roaches swarmed out of where we don’t even know 🤦🏾‍♀️ Also the towels were already dirty one was already used and even the ones that hadn’t been used were dirty

Later on more and more roaches came out from all over the room

We didnt sleep much due the fact that roaches were having a party on the walls of our room.... And giving birth all over the bathroom floor (Yes Lots or pregnant ones)

We packed our things asap and got out of there at first site of sunlight!

I’m sure they knew but upon returning the room key I told the woman about the roach infestation just to see how they’d react and just as I expected she couldn’t care less

Before leaving we watched the women who had been “cleaning” the rooms and she had nothing more than a vaccume cleaner and a trash can

I’d sleep on the streets before ever...

Ok I was skeptical because of reviews but once I got here open the room door the room is big the manager is ver nice i have stayed here for weeks/Months he was remodeling new beds new mirrors nice no bed bugs I have Been in 3 different rooms car is safe no problem lots of cameras I love that the manager not scary he don’t let no one hang out in front are parking aisles are stairwells I love it customer service from management wonderful never had a problem the manager always fix it now maids be careful short Hispanic lady act like she doesn’t speak English will try and go in ur room had to check her for cleaning my room right when she seen me leave and I been asking her for an hour to clean but once I told management never happened again nice big rooms cable and Wi-Fi good rooms the only reason I gave it 4 stars because his wife recently just started seeing black ppl and would just lie saying she seen ppl going to my room which is lie she likes to cause confrontation I just deal with the skinny tall man...
