Overall, affordable apartments with a handful of notable downsides. Photos attached for some. Starting with the upsides though: -pool -hot tub -location for CSUN -parking (gated uncovered with one pass per renter) -closet space -utilities included (except WiFi) -gym (not big or particularly well maintained but it's included) Downsides: -outlets and lack of care -no oven (only two burner stove) -almost no kitchen/pantry storage -lack of space per dollar -shower head without upgrade is presumably for people 5'8 or smaller (for taller people this is a yikes) (the upgrade I installed is included in the pictures) -Bathroom sink and bathroom are not attached (bathroom is also super tiny) -mini fridge is 2 cubic feet or so (very small) -monthly middle of the night fire alarm drill -Laundry system (no laundry cards for first 3 weeks of living here: aka had to use laundromat down the street when my room was right next to a laundry room... Why a company would make it so laundry cards are the only payment option is beyond me) Summary: Acceptable option for students or first apartment if you're willing to make due... Not so much if you're looking for an upscale experience.

0 Stars. This is by far the worst place I have rented at. Waste of money. Water is either cold or shut off! No warning either. The power goes out all the time but only in certain rooms!! It’s not an actual outage! I’ve had to replace groceries that went out of temp due to no power multiple times! No reimbursement of any kind. Majority of employees that work here are extremely rude and don’t seem to have any knowledge in what they are doing. No security here, not a safe place to live. All doors are unlocked or propped open 24/7. Homeless are always surrounding the trashcans inside the “gated” property. The same tenants yelling / cussing at 4-5am! This lady always throws things in the middle of night and damages the property consistently. It’s extremely loud, not safe and nothing is ever done about it. This place is also extremely dirty and out of date. Trash left everywhere. No consistency among the property. It needs to be remodeled or shut down ASAP. Most units left on the property are unlivable. Imagine paying $2000 for no water or power for hoursss after a long day of school and work. Don’t waste your money like I have. Stay away!

This was our last resort we had no housing for my daughter who is going to school CSUN the apartment bathroom was not clean. It was filthy. The shower had mold in it. The smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector was going off for weeks before they resurface the shower without telling her she was supposed to have to be out of the shower for 24 hours, which turned into 48 hours which turned into now four days and then they tried to say that we told somebody she was contagious and that’s why they hadn’t fixed it. That was just an excuse for them not doing their job. This place is horrible. Do not rent this place. My daughter has had a leak for months and nothing has been done about it

This was the Worst place I have lived. I moved here because it is walking distance from CSUN. This is the only advantage that this place has.

Tags: Unsafe, Loud, Bad Neighbors, Lack of Parking, Consider Your Deposit Gone!

Now these are some of things that happened to me in the past year:

  1. I am married, and on the first three days there was two incidents that two group of tenants disturbed my wife while she was going to the laundry room, so I had to accompany her or she would do laundry in the times that I was home. I told about this to the management , but I am not sure what they did because I never hear back from them.

  2. We had occasionally loud neighbors till our new neighbors moved cross the hall from us and the nightmare started. They were group of football players living in two adjacent apartments. They were extremely loud and for some reason they would bring their fights to the hall way. They would constantly cheat on their girlfriends and we had to tolerate their fights with their random girlfriends. When they were playing computer games, they would make the strangest and loudest noises that a human vocal cords can produce! I called the security after midnight many times during a week, and 6 out of 10 calls would be ignored by the security company although they would tell me they will send the security guard.

  3. I witnessed Pit bull fight in the barbecue area on a Sunday! I told the security guard. Again, I do not know what the outcome was.

  4. If you like pot, this place is your heaven. I do not smoke, so I was annoyed by the regular smell of pot in the hall ways.

  5. Washing machines usually have human and pet hair in them from the previous person who used the machine.

  6. Parking! It used to be good. But I do not know why we started to realized that after 12:00am you could not find any spots. And I saw many cars parking in the lot without permits. Once I saw the security in the parking lot and told him about those cars. He told me that they will tow them in the morning. Guess what! The owner would take the car out before the office was opened.

  7. CONSTANT FIRE ALARM! The fire alarm is extremely extremely loud and it will go off in random times. This happens at least twice a week.

  8. Forget your deposit! They devised and official way to keep your deposit! We had no nails on the walls, no scratches. NOTHING. And I have a video of how I returned the apartment on my cellphone. However, they charged me for full painting of the apartment!

STAY WAY. 10 minutes driving distance, you can find better and...

The position of this complex is awesome for a CSUN student however they do not seem to function well. I was desperate to find a place, finally had the appointment to see a unit, even texted the same day to confirm. I arrived on time, the secretary told me to wait for someone to come and show me the unit, no one came. I was there to see a furnished studio, even the text message they sent me confirmed my appointment for that. However guess what? The secretary told me that they were remodeling the furnished studio, she shown me how it looked now and that it would have been ready in 2-3 weeks. I could not wait that long so she shown me the one bedroom and shared studio. I asked her questions regarding my concerns for rent, short term lease and what not, she was very nice and answered me but also admitted that it was her first time showing around because she is not even a leasing agent. I applied anyways for the one bedroom, I am international so let me just tell you that if you are international too, is going to be a hell of a roller coster. I sent to my agent, that took care of my application, SO MANY DOCUMENTS. I understand that they want to make sure that I am financially stable to afford the place, but every time I sent her my documents, she needed always more and more. I told her I needed the unit for just a few months, many times. I offered to even pay all of my rent upfront. She then ended up saying that I was not qualified for her apartments and that the lease for rent was going to be at least until July (I told her many times that I was supposed to leave in May). It was very unprofessional, I even called at least twice to talk to her but she was never in the office. If you are international, GOOD LUCK. On the bright side, the location is perfect for students and the units I saw were actually very nice. (NOTE: I just saw them, no details of the units more than may own eyes...

The hallways are CONSTANTLY dirty. The water and power randomly cut off at they don’t warn you or fix the issue for days. It’s going on 2 months and I still have NOT received my deposit back after being told by Fransheila (property manager) that I would receive it in 21 days. She has HORRIBLE management skills and NEVER takes accountability for the things she does. She blames her team for HER miscommunication. She responds to emails and phone calls when she wants to. I’ve asked her for corporates information 5 times already and she REFUSES to provide me with it. Maybe this job is too much for her to handle and she needs a break or needs to be placed in a new position. She’s also VERY combative, but it’s okay because I have EVERYTHING documented. DO NOT rent here if you don’t want to experience these things.

11/22/23: I wish I could give them zero stars. I finally received my deposit check after 3 months and of course the amount was incorrect. Dealing with these apartments have been issue after issue. They are VERY unprofessional! Fransheila no longer works there and promises she made regarding providing me my FULL deposit has NOT been honored even though I was advised to provide emails between her and I stating I would get my full deposit. Supposedly they do not have a corporate office (or they just wouldn’t provide it to me after asking for months) but all this stuff going on at this company doesn’t seem right. Again I would NOT recommend moving here if you don’t want to...
