The marketplace has 4 restaurants and i have now eaten at all of them; baba’s pizza, the halal shack, wild blue modern japanese, and pueblo. baba’s - this was the second longest wait time of about 10 minutes after ordering, however it was probably the best food i had. pizza is good but a little small for the price. halal shack- was probably about a 6-7 minute wait before ordering and i did enjoy the bowl. they have more variety as well. i might’ve enjoyed this food the most actually. pueblo- this was the longest wait, felt about 15 minutes. staff was very slow and confused on matacash, customer behind me was even ordering in spanish and the staff still asked him to repeat everything he said. the food was good and cheap though. wild blue- all of the food here is pre-packaged which i did not know. this food tasted the most like cafeteria food but the staff was actually friendly which i can’t say the same for the other places. OVERALL; the marketplace is NOT a quick stop before class, even when there isn’t a line it’s generally slow service at EVERY restaurant there. the food greatly varies. but its nice these restaurants are all in one place and the building infrastructure is kinda cute.

The Marketplace is a huge area to dine at. There's 2 levels. The ground level is where you can buy your food at. There are different stations: Italian, Asian, American, etc,. This is definitely the place to go, because this is CSUN's food. IS the food good? I like the pizza, and the breakfast items. I can't vouch for the pasta, etc. The ground level has a big seating area and several outlets to plug your laptops in. There are also a few t.v's where you watch the preset t.v. show. Upstairs is quite nice because it's more of a lounge. There are comfy couch seats, and even computers to access the internet as well. There is also outside seating if desired. I think this eating area was carefully planned and it is a...

Why aren't they open until all the evening classes are over? They could shut down the fast food and at least have a couple employees to sell you the pre packaged snacks. There is no where for me to wait for my ride home...
