Ok we stayed here 3 nights. Our first night we arrived after midnight and the 2 at the front desk were fabulous. They were friendly, and helpful.
We purposely booked our rooms in two different transactions to see how easy it is to link them and how it would work. For the most part it was very easy I had to go down check out and check back in. But so everyone knows they do due hold funds for both transactions. Other hotels do not do that. they also don't make you check out and check back in.
The room was more than I expected. I cannot say enough about the beds. I had the best night's sleep in a hotel in a long time. My mother complained about the little pillows the first night, but when she woke up said she stated she needed to learn to do that with her pillows. My daughter always sleeps on the pull-out couch. She said it was the worst one ever. On night two we asked for another comforter and they did give us one. It was big enough for us to double it but the next day she said it didn't help. I offered her to sleep in my bed but she refused 😔. She said never again she would rather sleep on the floor. There was a weird smell but we think it was the cleaning products. It went away after sometime. the toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom definitely needs to be moved it is in the worst location ever. Everyday they changed our towels even claiming to be green, we did hang them.
The breakfast was ok. We had better we had worst. The first day the sausage was cold and the eggs tasted off. Day two it was so busy that the food could only be hot. It was gone as soon as it came out. They could've used two people this day. My biggest issue was staff was taking food while the guests were waiting. Please do not get me wrong I think it's fabulous they get to eat, but they could've helped her get food to the guests then they could've had their breakfast. By day three the food was boring, it was the same thing, nothing different.
The pool I could not say anything bad except for the hours. I wish after our day out we could've gone to the pool. The temperature was perfect. Maybe a table or two with umbrellas.
The gazebo is a wonderful touch. I would love to see another one that maybe isn't close to the smokers but I understand you can't please everyone. You have a great side lot that maybe a few tables is perfect, or a basketball hoop! Those are the little things that can put you...
Read moreWe stayed here to attend an event at the expo center, budget hotel close to the highway didnt expect anything fancy.
Even though the neighborhood wasn't the best the parking lot is well lit with cameras on all post, which made me feel better about the experience.
To add to my wife's review the biggest upset was the confusion of the pet policy, booking through hotel tonight it clearly says pets under 25 pounds no charge. We we informed at check in that there was a $15/night charge. Which we informed the guy at the desk, ww had to show him the listing from the app, and he called the manager to waive the fee, then we were asked to send the screenshot to the manager also fine
first response was of the manager stating he couldn't see the hotel address in the screenshot. He got a call from his employee stating he saw the app and the listing, and then asked us to send the photo, and then you're going to try and sipute it because the photo did list the address? why not ask that originally.
Resend it with the hotels address, and then get another email stating how their website shows the correct info and I should've checked.
If YOUR hotel is listed anywhere else it's YOUR responsibility to make sure 3rd parties are accurate, I'm not going to scroll through your website after booking elsewhere to make sure everything matches up
Apart from waiving the fee I didn't ask for anything, miscommunication happens with 3rd parties no biggie, I sent the email just so they could be aware of this happening again. I told the manager we would have never booked if we had seen the fee prior, I would've paid the extra and stayed somewhere nicer. The fact that they tried to dispute or go back and forth and put it on us is laughable, horrible customer service.
I also heard another guest having the same back and forth about her service dog after she said she had called and was assured it was okay. Which pretty sure is illegal to charge for
The other employees were nice enough, but the overall experience was lacking. Breakfast was cold, walls were so thin you heard everything and the doors all slam shut.
Thankful for the parking lot, felt safe leaving my stuff in the truck

Read moreI have been extremely disappointed with the way they handled an error on their part. It took many conversations and asking to speak to a manager for them to agree this was their fault. Originally they told me it was mine because I didn’t following the booking instructions on Equips website. I can’t operate the hotels software and book my rooms and give myself a discount??
We have a group coming for the Equip conference and I found this hotel on Google then called the hotel directly to book 7 rooms 3-4 months ago. I asked for a group discount for the conference and was given the group discount and confirmation numbers for our rooms. Easy, simple, done, happy customer! Fast forward 3-4 months, I call to add on more rooms only to find out I don’t even have rooms because the rooms they gave me were apart of the block rooms they actually sold to Equip and Equip already filled the rooms. I was informed the hotel will have to pay a penalty for what they did by booking rooms that were apart of the Equip booking (how is that my fault? Why am I being made to feel bad they have to pay a penalty for their mistake and they are doing me a favor now by giving me bigger, more expensive rooms for a higher price than I originally was going to pay?)
Their solution was to offer me King suites (they only had these left) but would not make the price equal to what my original rooms were going to cost. They tried telling me I’m getting bigger rooms, the cost was normally higher, etc etc but I didn’t need bigger rooms where one person got a pull out bed and the other a regular bed. We needed 7 rooms with 2 beds per room for 2 guys to split a room. Size wasn’t a perk to me. Asking everyone to pay more for their rooms because of the hotels error is just not good customer service.
After many conversations the final resolution was to give me the rooms for $6 more than my original rooms cost. They said the difference was because that is the lowest the software would let the room go for.
I patronized another business because I just couldn’t believe the lack of customer service. I didn’t want to get there and potentially have more issues while staying that wouldn’t be handled with...
