Laura and Norm made my mom’s birthday memorable! Upon our arrival this past Friday, we were greeted by our fabulous hosts Laura and Norm. We had booked a wine tour for our first day and Laura asked if we wanted out then. We said sure and she showed us our room. We were told to come down when ready and we’d head out. To our surprise, both Normand Laura joined us. It was the most relaxing afternoon we’ve had in awhile. They talked about the area and the different wineries we were going to. They joined us at each winery and we had so much fun just talking and laughing. It was like we had all known each other for years. Norm told us what he did for living besides the BnB and I was able to pick his brain on cars…I was in the market for a new car. Since this was our first time staying at a BnB, we didn’t know what to expect for breakfast. We were told breakfast was at 9am. We came downstairs and was asked if we wanted tea or coffee. I said yea and had my choice of about 36 different teas. We then sat down and Norm brought me a teapot with my choice of tea…which was delicious! Each morning, we were served a cup of fresh fruit…not the cut up fruit you get in the store. One morning was Belgian waffles with a delicious vanilla sauce and the next morning was baked eggs with fresh tomatoes from Laura’s garden. Both mornings, Laura served us local maple syrup glazed bacon with chopped pecans. My mouth is watering just thinking about that bacon 🤤. We enjoyed chatting with the 3 other guests and our wonderful hosts during breakfast. We enjoyed our very first BnB stay so much, we’ve booked for next July and my mom booked for November. It was a wonderful weekend getaway made even better by Norm and Laura. It was comfortable and they made you feel like family. I’m definitely looking forward to my stay next July!

Hosts were super friendly and accommodating. The location in downtown Madison is a great spot for late dinner and drinks, after the wineries have closed for the evening. No need to worry about driving anywhere since there are several great restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Additionally, the price price for a room and breakfast is hard to beat, especially when the breakfast is much better than you would find at any local diner. Overall, extremely happy and will be booking there from now on.

I highly recommend staying at His Majesty’s B&B in Madison Ohio. The owners Laura and Norm are a lovely couple and treated us wonderfully. My husband and I planned a weekend trip to Ohio’s wine country to unplug and go on a Jeep covered bridge tour. The B&B is a step back in time and provided us the perfect place to stay and unwind.

We booked a Winery Hop with Laura and Norm on Friday who drove us to a few wineries. My husband and I were able to sit back, relax, and simply enjoy. I suggest adding this to your trip as we were able to meet some of the owners, hear stories of the wineries, enjoy great conversations, and pick up some bottles to take home.

The B&B home is set off the main street and is so peaceful. The house is charming and has beautiful, enchanting details. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance if you don’t want to drive for lunch or dinner. However, the breakfast is not to be missed. The meal was so delicious and the couple we shared breakfast with was a delight.

If you need a place to stay while visiting Ohio wine country, please consider His...

Delightful place! Our friends recommended His Majesty’s for a good reason! Hoping to stay there again soon. We had a great time while in Madison. The bed and breakfast was clean, the rooms are private and comfortable. We felt at home here and the ambiance was amazing. We woke to the smell of coffee and bacon with breakfast cooking in the morning. We sat in the dining room where the service was friendly and courteous. The owners were truly welcoming and provided an air of comfort. The parlor was spacious with a well kept century home appearance. The house was embellished with a whimsically detailed garden where you will find areas for sitting and relaxation. There is a lot to see here. The B&B is on the square not far from the lake and the wineries. It is located near Madison Seminary, the historic home which housed female civil war spies. There are lovely dining areas within walking distance. This town has a rich history and an old...
