Terrible service and very rude General Manager 😒 ! They had put a pending hold of $657.02 on my Credit Card but wouldn't provide me with any information. None of the staff could provide any information either. When I spoke with the GM, he said he will look into it but did not. We checked out, paid for our room and received itemized bill. They still were not able to provide any information on the pending hold on my Credit Card. Then I got home and found out that they had also charged the $657.02 to my card. I called and spoke with the GM, he asked me for a reference number which we were never given. I told him so, he dropped the phone. I sent him a letter requesting itemized bills for the charges on my account, he ignored the letter and never responded. I got the Credit Card company to temporary reverse the charges. The CC company contacted the Inn and has given them 30 days to respond to the request for itemized bills or the temporary reverse will be made permanent. Their service is horrible. Do not stay there unless you are strapped and do not have any where else to stay in Greenville, SC. If you have to stay there, ask the full name of the Front Desk Clerk who checked you in, ask for itemized bill and check it very carefully; ensure that there are no pending chargeson you Credit Card. My family returned from our day out to relax together before turning it in for the night and as soon as we walked in the door and turned on the lights we saw ants around the end table lamp in the center of the room between the two beds. I went downstairs and waited in line for about 15 minutes while the concierge helped the other guests before she finally got to me and she immediately moved me to another room with my family. The night was otherwise good for me but my mother told me that the bed wasn't firm enough for her so it hurt her back. The next day I woke up to a dripping noise and noticed that it had rained all night and was still continuing to rain outside. But there was some sort of leak that allowed the rain to come through the window and leak down the window sill and drip onto the carpet. Upon further inspection on fully waking up I noticed that there was a giant water stain on the ceiling above the bed that I was sleeping in this indicates that there was a leak in the roof above my bed.
