Great experience with a party of 8. Our waitress was gracious and attentive. The food was EXCELLENT. The beer and bourbon selection was more than you could wish for. Pricing, like any place in our current economy, were higher than what I want these days, but there is definitely value in the quality. We all had the burgers which we all loved. The meat was juicy and the different combinations of jams, bacon, peppers and cheeses perfectly complemented each other. No ketchup or mustard needed on these burgers. We also all split some appetizers which were served as healthy portions. The fried green tomatoes had a scoop of homemade pimento cheese on them and served hot out of the fryer. Excellent! The street corn deviled eggs were consumed in is bite and had plenty of flavor. Excellent! And the brussel sprouts….they were the home run of apps. They were topped with a whipped feta and Parmesan cheese. WOW! They were good enough to eat as a meal. There are also several TVs around the restaurant including 2 large screens consisting of 4 TVs put together. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating in the front was somewhat in the sunlight in the evening, but our interior table was just right. The bourbon selection is one of the best in town and the prices for a 2oz pour are very reasonable. The beer selection can be seen ahead of time on the “untappd” app which is super convenient. The only complaint I have is the payment process. So many restaurants have a handheld credit card processing machine and the wait staff hovers over you while to decide on the tip. It makes it uncomfortable after a very enjoyable evening. I simply asked her to leave it on the table and I’ll take care of it soon. But even then, she was in the kitchen eager awaiting on me to push the buttons and place it back on the table so she could retrieve it. Overall, it was an excellent evening of food, drinks and a fellowship. I highly...
Read moreWe were here for a 5 member brother sister family gathering first time to try this joint out on Dec 31st. And we were not disappointed at all. Everyone ordered a different dish. Dishes were Southwestern Chicken Sandwich, Mac N Cheese Bites, Dry Rub Chicken Wings, Prawns, Mediterranean Wrap, Chimichuri Burger, my lastly own personal burger which was a double patty smash burger, etc. See photos below. The food was fantastic. Highly recommended quick serving restaurant. The waitress paid attention to customers very well as I noticed her handling 2-3 tables simultaneously. Chefs inside made no mistake in what was ordered and what was served. Great food overall. Now one more thing can possibly make this even a better place. Like every other burger joint I have tested, this place also suffers from same industry wide issue…. The size of the Patty is perfect but the size of Bun is too small. So the meat keeps falling down on plate as burger bun has no space to hold it in place. I have asked this issue with numerous burger foodies and they almost all have same complaint about bun being smaller than patty size. I did some research on this. The problem is when you have a good heap of loaded stuff (most foodies prefer lots of things), the toppings & meat always slides off the bun. Bun covers the toppings and patty exactly in diameter so looks good when presented on table. But halfway through it the whole thing starts to disintegrate and fall apart. There must be something better that can be done. Make buns slightly LARGER. Trust me it will help to hold all the material inside. There is one place in San Antonio which understands this and they use slightly larger buns. You can then contain the patty and toppings inside all the way to last bite. Other than this - This place has the best options to make your own smashburger. I will come again. Highly recommended. Go there and make your...
Read moreFirst time eating at this location. 6 of us decided to get together for New Year's Day lunch after I saw the FB event "Unlimited pancake and pajama party" with regular menu available. We have all eaten at the Mauldin location, so we thought Greenville would be the same quality...WRONG! We stood at the door waiting for someone to acknowledge us for approximately 3 minutes. Logan finally addressed and seated us. He also happened to be our server. My husband ordered a cup of coffee and Logan informed us that they were out of coffee mugs, so my husband brought his travel cup in so he could have coffee. My friend and I each ordered a mimosa carafe. The picture is what Logan brought us (red line is original pour). He informed us that they ran out of carafes, so they filled the glass more. I ordered chicken and waffle brunch item. Logan said they didn't have waffles so it would come with pancakes instead of a Belgian waffle. I chose steak and eggs instead with sourdough toast. My husband ordered the same. My order came with one piece of toast, my husband's came with 2 pieces of toast. 3 of us ordered "donut ice cream" which was on the menu and we pointed to exactly what we wanted. We got the starter item which was "glazed donut holes". What it actually tasted like was fried hush puppies with icing drizzled on top. I asked to speak with the manager. Scott came to the table and I expressed my concerns over the mimosas and unavailability of menu food. He offered his explanations and also offered to make things right. We will not be returning to the Greenville location. We had no complaints about the food quality (except for the donuts), just the quality specific to our orders was lacking. Logan mentioned he was a new employee and he appeared to be a little unfamiliar with his surroundings. Considering the circumstances, he was very pleasant and did his best to provide...
