Holiday Inn Express & Suites Meridian I-20 by IHG — Hotel in Meridian

STAYED 1 NIGHT. LOVED THE HOTEL..CLEAN ,FRIENDLY. ,NEW...GOT GROUND FLOOR ROOM(WE WERE HAPPY THEY FOUND GROUND FLOOR )ROOM NEAR THE BACKDOOR...STILL IN AWE OF HOW NICE.....WE TOLD THEM WHEN WE MADE THE RESERVATION.WE HAVE A FEDERAL REGISTERED SERVICE ANIMAL....A 4 YR.OLD 2lb YORKIE...ANY WAY...MY LIL DOG NEVER HIT THAT HOTEL FLOOR..NEVER DOES..SHE HAS A BED ..ON THE HOTEL BED....SHE CANT JUMP ON OR OFF THE BED..I NEVER LEAVE HER IN ROOM...WE TAKE HER EVERYWHERE!!AND VERY.....VERY WELL HOUSE TRAINED......WITH THAT BEING SAID....NICE HOTEL..UNTIL THIS HAPPEN......GOT HOME...LOOKED AT MY CHARGES ON APP....BAM!!$150.00 EXTRA charge for pet urine on carpet!!... BTW...VERY CLEAN LIKE NEW ROOMS. HINTS...MY 2LB. DOG N NEVER HIT THAT ROOM FLOOR..WE NEVER PUT HER ON THE FLOOR....MY CREDIT COMPANY .THEIR .HANDLING IT...WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS.....THEY LIED AND STOLE $150 MY DOG NEVER HIT THAT FLOOR. SHE IS WELL TRAINED...THANKS...

It seems odd I know, but my three young granddaughters and I watched this Holiday Inn Express go from ground to completion. We had not done anything special during Spring Break week, so after I picked them up to have them for the day we rode by and saw the "Now Open" sign. The girls squealed, and I pulled in, they thought we were going in just to look but I went to the desk and got a reservation for that night. It was so fun because it was not our expected plans for the evening, the girls were beyond ecstatic! We had such a nice night, the room and beds were so nice, and the entire place is beautiful but the people who worked there made it very special for the girls and myself. The only sad thing was that it was too early for the pool to be open, one cried about that because it was a very warm day, I promised to take them back when...

Definitely can tell it's a new hotel and not a remodel. The rooms were nice and clean. Bathrooms have walk-in showers. I especially liked the night light the bathroom. The staff was super friendly and courteous. The night manager Anicka was extremely helpful! Even offered to assist with breakfast while I was holding my 1 year old. Breakfast was good, I'd say better than average. Cons that is see but I can be a picky person: Coffee not in every room (but two machines in the lobby); Walk in showers, not sure if there are tubs in any of the rooms but those are nice when having kids with; The shower door sliding door didn't have a handle on both sides( probably a reason for it) but can make it a bit of a challenge to open and close the shower door. Only stayed a night but if we ever stay in Meridian again this will be the go to...
